Staticcomp is a file archiver. It is a program using library libsc for compressing/decompressing files. Libsc uses compression method based on Burrows-Wheeler transform. For GST stage there are methods MTF, MTF-1, MTF-2, Timestamp, IFC and WFC.

This is a python based UI application that can rename a part of a set of files inside a directory based on the provided regular expression. This gives a lot more flexibility compared to other renaming files since it used grouping principle. This had two level of applying the rename, first stage shows who it will be when you rename it, if you are fine with the change you can make it permanent by clicking commit. This one is a backupscript which works with rsync and OpenSSH keys to automate a simple two stage backup on one masterserver over network secure! 19 years later I must say it was a great idea doing it, even though it's too premature to call it anything beyond a project :-). Would be great if someone would finally create a backup software that has similar capabilities and does not cost or suck...
