MvOLE is program for reading Microsoft OLE Storage file (such as MS Word .doc or MS Excel .xls). You can get content of any OLE object in this file, even if it is damaged. Object's content may be translated from MS Office UNICODE to plain text.

An alternative to jakarta project. Lightweight and simple. Reads OLE file (try at least) and parse all that looks like a text. Supports Word, Excel, RTF and PowerPoint files. Outlook planned, but not made yet.

Simple Records management system that uses NTFS to securely store the records. Metadata is added with OLE Compound Storage (File->properties) and no RDBMS is used. Aimed at organisations with a requirement to store records but no huge budget.
