Open Source Perl Statistics Software

The only open source counter to count any items the simplest and easiest way with the keyboard, or the mouse specifically on images. After associating a key to each item, or a predefined graphical symbol for images, pressing the key or clicking on the image increments its associated counter, and displays (for the images) the symbol at the mouse's pointer location. Such a project is so simple a child could use it!

Avvis) perform all the operation of Matematica on different sets of data visualized on a Qt graphical interface. DrImage) image manipulation on the Matematica filters. The program is intended to use as less as possible external libs (optional: openGL, gsl, fftw, cgal, png, tiff, boost, MPI, Qt...).

It is often necessary to assign a series of discrete values to continuosly variable data sequenced by time, position, etc., thereby parsing the data into fewer and larger segments of variable width. The 'segment' utility takes an input data stream as a Hidden Markov Model and applies the Viterbi algorithm to find the most likely segmentation path through the data.
