GPS track editor for editing tracks and planning (multiple) day tours

JGPSTrackEdit my also be used to download tile images for later offline use by smartphone apps. JGPSTrackEdit is written in the java language. Polaris

Polaris is a navigation and mapping software for Windows and Linux.

...All elements can be later exported to a file in GPS Exchange Format (GPX) for further processing. It also offers Datum conversion between different coordinate systems. Mono runtime environment (http://www.mono-project.com) as well as GTK# (http://www.mono-project.com/GtkSharp) are needed in order to run polaris.
