...There’s also a great selection of high-performance building blocks for signal-processing programmers familiar with languages like Max/MSP. With Tone.js they can create their own synthesizers, effects, and complex control signals.

A binary waveform synthesizer derived from and based upon Timewave Zero theory by Terence McKenna. His theory proposes that the structure of time is a complex wave with a scalar potential, and the King Wen sequence of the I Ching is the 64 hexagram code from which the waveform of time is derived; that the King Wen sequence maps the linear progression of the human states of mind, which ultimately substantiates this waveform. This theory is the basis for the well-known novelty computer program he and others had developed. ...

...Supported audio sources include MP3s, WAV files, and algorithmic generators, while filters enable effects such as echo, equalization, and envelope shaping. The system is flexible enough to handle complex timing sequences of audio, making it suitable for advanced audio applications or interactive projects.

A unique desktop music composing application for PC/Mac/Linux/Android with a tracker style interface and a simple modular Java plugin based design allowing rapid improvement and endless expansion.

funkGen is a software function generator intended as an educational tool. It has a number of basic generators and transforms, but can also combine those into more complex waveforms, Ouput sound files, graphics, or just raw data.

Amber is an easy-to-use, multi-faceted granular sampling tool for composers wishing to construct timbrally complex sounds; available as a command-line tool for Linux-similar operating systems, or with a Cocoa wrapper that runs on Macintosh OS X.

Tao is a software package for sound synthesis using physical models. It provides a virtual acoustic material constructed from masses and springs which can be used as the basis for building quite complex virtual musical instruments.
