...Many of the disks have scratches that impose needles to make little jumps producing short sharp noises named 'click'. My project's aim was to create a free software which able to remove this kind of noise from audio files produced by capturing vinyl disk. Also the application is able to remove some other kinds of short sharp noises like 'bitrots'. The program can detect start positions and lengths of clicks and replaces the damaged samples with interpolated ones automatically. Win 10 users can add the app from Wondows Store. -

...You will find it handy when your old Karaoke player malfunctions. Then you typically find out that your player model it is not manufactured anymore, and that the new model comes with a different disk which doesn't have your favorite songs. And of course it does not read the disk from the old player either. In this case the only way you can access the songs from your old player disk is by extracting them into the music/lyrics files, and use some karaoke player like XBMC to play them.

...It has a rename file utility, not only for mp3 files. It has an utility panel to create playlists, re-organize files in folders with the name format you prefer, an utility to optimize the CD disk space. This program was written in 2002, so I don't remember much about it ... but I used it a lot, as much as my close friends. I decided only now (shame on me) to share it with everybody in the world. Hope you'll like it, also the program's help is fully working now !!! Nice to install eclipse and debugging something 10 years later ... ...

EnDiskEx is a command-line tool that bulk extracts instruments, sequences, songs, and banks from Ensoniq-formatted disk images (RAW, GKH, EDE, and EDA) for the EPS/ASR family of samplers. The extracted files are saved as EFE / SMF / TXT files. EnDiskEx is designed to extract Ensoniq banks for re-creation within a different DAW. It will track down the instrument and song files from bank references even if they were saved on another disk.
