ONZE Miner was a browser-based linguistics research tool that stores audio recordings and regular-expression searchable text transcripts of interviews. The search results, entire transcripts, and media, can be viewed or exported in a variety of format
dna2abc turns DNA sequences into musical sequences. The key feature is the rule editor; a rule is a regularexpression paired with a Tcl script. dna2abc scans a DNA sequence, testing each regularexpression: if it matches, the Tcl script is run.
The Music File Finder (muff) is a shell program (bash) to search a directory tree for mp3 files whose filename matches some regularexpression. Users are presented a list of matching filenames and can choose any of these file to be appended to a playlist
