    Karma

    Karma

    Test Runner for JavaScript

The main goal for Karma is to bring a productive testing environment to developers. The environment being one where they don't have to set up loads of configurations, but rather a place where developers can just write the code and get instant feedback from their tests. Because getting quick feedback is what makes you productive and creative. Test your code on real browsers and real devices such as phones, tablets or on a headless PhantomJS instance. Control the whole workflow from the command line or your IDE - just save a file and Karma will run all the tests. Describe your tests with Jasmine, Mocha, QUnit, or write a simple adapter for any framework you like. ...

    Selenium IDE

    Selenium IDE

Open Source record and playback test automation for the web

...Getting started with Selenium IDE requires no additional setup other than installing the extension on your browser. One of our driving philosophies is to provide an easy-to-use tool that will give instant feedback. We believe that the easier we can make it, the more likely people are to author tests, which in turn results in better-tested apps. Selenium IDE records multiple locators for each element it interacts with. If one locator fails during playback, the others will be tried until one is successful.

    CSS Critic

    CSS Critic

    Lightweight CSS regression testing

...For example, make it supervise changes to your project's responsive style guide so you know things are looking good. We believe that your UI will change often enough that a lightweight process on managing changes (near instant feedback, anyone?) is more important than a heavy-weight one which could offer tighter control. Also, CSS Critic aims at bridging the gap between user experience (UX) people and (UI) developers. You probably won't find an easier way of sharing your UI tests than the simple web page that CSS Critic basically is. And don't feel put down by the "CSS" bit, you may throw anything at it that can be converted into a simple image.

    Randoop Netbeans Plugin
Randoop is an automatic unit test generator for Java. It automatically creates unit tests for your classes, in JUnit format. 1) Randoop generates unit tests using feedback-directed random test generation. In a nutshell, this technique randomly, but smartly, generates sequences of methods and constructor invocations for the classes under test, and uses the sequences to create tests. Randoop executes the sequences it creates, using the results of the execution to create assertions that capture the behavior or your program and that catch bugs. 2) Randoop has created tests that find previously unkwon errors even in widely-used libraries including Sun and IBM's JDKs. ...
