    Terratest

Go library that makes it easier to write automated tests

Terratest is a Go library that provides patterns and helper functions for testing infrastructure, with 1st-class support for Terraform, Packer, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and more. Create a file ending in _test.go and run tests with the go test command. E.g., go test my_test.go. Use Terratest to execute your real IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Packer, etc.) to deploy real infrastructure (e.g., servers) in a real environment (e.g., AWS). Testing Files Generator

    Testing Files Generator

Test file generator for QA. Creates real PDF, PNG, ZIP, DOCX and more

Testing Files Generator is a tool for QA engineers and developers who need real files to test against - an upload form, a parser, anything that takes a file and has an opinion about it. You pick one of its 26 formats and the size you want, and you get exactly that: ask for a 10 MB PDF and you get a PDF that a reader will open, at 10 MB to the byte. GUI + CLI You are testing software that accepts files from people. Sooner or later you need: - a PDF of exactly 10 MB, to find out whether the upload limit is real - the three files that sit either side of that limit, to catch off by one errors -10,000 log files, to see what the nightly job does when the folder is big - a ZIP that genuinely holds 200 documents, not a stub with the right extension - a 4 GB file, without keeping a 4 GB file in your repository https://testingfilesgenerator.donislawdev.com/

    gomock

    gomock

GoMock is a mocking framework for the Go programming language

...If you have not done so already be sure to add $GOPATH/bin to your PATH. If you use mockgen in your CI pipeline, it may be more appropriate to fixate on a specific mockgen version. Source mode generates mock interfaces from a source file. It is enabled by using the -source flag. Other flags that may be useful in this mode are -imports and -aux_files. Reflect mode generates mock interfaces by building a program that uses reflection to understand interfaces. It is enabled by passing two non-flag arguments, an import path, and a comma-separated list of symbols. The mockgen command is used to generate source code for a mock class given a Go source file containing interfaces to be mocked.
