    Karate

    Karate

    Test automation made simple

Karate is the only open-source tool to combine API test-automation, mocks, performance-testing and even UI automation into a single, unified framework. The BDD syntax popularized by Cucumber is language-neutral, and easy for even non-programmers. Assertions and HTML reports are built-in, and you can run tests in parallel for speed. There’s also a cross-platform stand-alone executable for teams not comfortable with Java.

Hackable HTTP proxy for resiliency testing

...Its core model uses poisons to alter traffic and rules to decide when those alterations should apply. Tests can inject latency, limit bandwidth, return errors, manipulate payloads, or combine several adverse conditions. Rules can filter traffic by route, headers, query values, methods, bodies, and other request properties. A hierarchical middleware architecture makes the proxy extensible with custom behaviors and reusable modules. The repository was archived in 2023, so it is primarily useful as a reference or for legacy testing setups.

    Java-HCT

Java-HCT: An approach to increase MC/DC using Hybrid Concolic Testing

In our proposed work, we combine feedback-directed test cases generation with concolic testing to form Java-Hybrid Concolic Testing (Java-HCT). Java-HCT generates test cases combine so that, it create more number of test cases. Hence, through Java-HCT we achieve high MC/DC. Combinations of approaches represent different tradeoffs of completeness and scalability.
