...We were initially using an open-source Redis cache client but then it turned into a commercial product with high licensing costs. Not only that but there weren't any in-memory implementations so every developer was required to set up and configure Redis. We initially looked at NServiceBus (a great product) but it had high licensing costs (they have to eat too) and was not OSS friendly.

The idea is to create a simple CMS that integrates SourceForge REST services so it is up to date automatically. Just set a couple of values in the configuration file, upload to SourceForge web directory, set write permissions to the cache directory and enjoy. You'll be able to customize the site just creating a CSS file and modifying a few configuration values. Right now it is in a very early development status so there's very little you can see.

Using RapidHook you can easily get and add files to and from user hosted repositories. To download a file from a repository, you only need the name set for the file. For example, "get firefox" could get the Firefox web-browser if you are connected to a repository that has Firefox in it.
