    Orator

    Orator

The Orator ORM provides a simple yet beautiful ActiveRecord implement.

...It is inspired by the database part of the Laravel framework, but largely modified to be more pythonic. All you need to get you started is the configuration describing your database connections and passing it to a DatabaseManager instance. If you have multiple databases configured you can specify which one is the default. For MySQL and PostgreSQL, the connectors are configured to return unicode strings. If you want to use the previous behavior just set the use_unicode configuration option to False. Once you have configured your database connection, you can run queries. To run a set of operations within a database transaction, you can use the transaction method which is a context manager.

    Mojo-Webqq

    Mojo-Webqq

    Perl-based smart QQ client framework

...It manages login flows, session refresh, and long-polling or websocket-style message reception to deliver events into an asynchronous event loop. Plugins and hooks let developers implement auto-replies, keyword filters, logging, forwarding, and integrations with external services or databases. The library abstracts contacts, groups, and messages into Perl objects, making it straightforward to write handlers that react to rich context. Its non-blocking architecture supports multiple conversations concurrently without complex threading, which is ideal for chat bots. Although the upstream web APIs have evolved over time, Mojo-Webqq illustrates a clean, extensible approach to building chat automation on top of Mojolicious.

managing Clojure and ClojureScript app state since (reset)

Mount is a lightweight state management library for Clojure and ClojureScript that helps developers manage application components—like databases, servers, and caches—in a REPL-friendly way, allowing smooth reloadability of application state without losing productivity. If the whole app is one big application context (or system), cross dependencies with a solid dependency graph is an integral part of the system. But if a state is a simple top level being, these beings can coexist with each other and with other namespaces by being required instead. ...

    nervalreports

    nervalreports

A lightweight report creation Java library

...Instead of the highly expensive way of well-known engines like Jasper Reports, where performance and data reiteration is a big and set aside problem (and also is the report design as a non-programming task), at Nerval Reports the data should be sent directly when iterating through it (ie: when using databases, one will create its report while iterating through the result set - instead of creating a bunch of collections to pass them to the library), and the design is mainly focused on programmer side. Also, one could include to its project just the exporters he/she is interested with, basing its choice on performance trade-offs, report file types and focused target projects.

    Flasky

Companion code to my O'Reilly book "Flask Web Development"

...It serves as both a tutorial and sample codebase that walks developers through building a full-featured web application, including user registration and login, role-based permissions, user profiles, and content creation. The project shows how to organize a Flask application into reusable blueprints, configure environment-specific settings, integrate SQL databases via SQLAlchemy, and manage migrations. Beyond the core web functionality, Flasky illustrates testing strategies using Python’s unittest framework, including tests for models, views, and authentication flows to promote test-driven development.
