    SwiftNIO

    SwiftNIO

Network application framework for protocol servers and clients

...High-level implementations are usually libraries that come with an API that doesn't expose SwiftNIO's ChannelPipeline and can therefore be used with very little (or no) SwiftNIO-specific knowledge. The implementations listed below do still do all of their I/O in SwiftNIO and integrate really well with the SwiftNIO ecosystem. SwiftNIO aims to support all of the platforms where Swift is supported. Currently, it is developed and tested on macOS and Linux.

    Stevia

    Stevia

    Concise Autolayout code

...By creating a tool that makes Auto Layout code finally readable by a human being. By coupling it with live code injection such as injectionForXcode we can design views in real-time. View layout becomes fun, concise, maintainable, and dare I say, beautiful. In the project folder, you can find an example of a typical login view laid out in both native and Stevia for you to understand and compare the two approaches. Stevia enables you to write readable Auto Layout code. It does so by tackling the 3 main components of layout: view hierarchy, layout and styling.

Popup from Apple Music & Feedback in AppStore. Contains Done, Heart, Error and other. Supports Dark Mode and SwiftUI. I tried to recreate Apple's alerts as much as possible. You can find these alerts in the AppStore after feedback and after you add a song to your library in Apple Music. The Swift Package Manager is a tool for automating the distribution of Swift code and is integrated into the swift compiler. It’s integrated with the Swift build system to automate the process of downloading, compiling, and linking dependencies. ...

    SCLAlertView

    SCLAlertView

Beautiful animated Alert View written in Swift

...Since UIAlertView is deprecated and UIAlertController only works on iOS 8.x or above, if you have a Swift project where you want to support iOS 7.x too, SCLAlertView is an ideal substitution. I tried to build an easy to use API, while beeing flexible enough for multiple variations, but I'm sure there are ways of improving and adding more features, so feel free to collaborate with ideas, issues and/or pull requests. You can customize the animation styles.

    Sheeeeeeeeet

    Sheeeeeeeeet

Sheeeeeeeeet is a Swift library for creating menus

Sheeeeeeeeet is a UIKit library that lets you create menus that can be presented as custom action sheets, context menus, alert controllers, or in any way you like. Sheeeeeeeeet comes with many item types (standard items, buttons, titles, toggles, etc.) and can be extended with your own custom item types. Since I have personally moved over to SwiftUI, this repository is no longer under active development. I will however gladly merge any PRs that add value to it or fixes problems with new iOS versions.

    SwiftLinkPreview

    SwiftLinkPreview

It makes a preview from an URL, grabbing all the information

...It makes a preview from an URL, grabbing all the information such as title, relevant texts and images. Swift is a great programming language that allows us to learn faster and build more stuff in less time because of its simplicity. Back then, when I created my first project related to previewing link, only Facebook had this feature on their services. Now many companies preview links inside their products. None of them has open-sourced it though. It basically does the same thing as the others. It makes a preview from an URL, grabbing all the information such as title, relevant texts and images.

    RxCombine

    RxCombine

    Bi-directional type bridging between RxSwift

RxCombine provides bi-directional type bridging between RxSwift and Apple's Combine framework. This is highly experimental, and basically just a quickly-put-together PoC. I gladly accept PRs, ideas, opinions, or improvements. Check out the Example App in the ExampleApp folder. Run pod install before opening the project. RxCombine provides several helpers and conversions to help you bridge your existing RxSwift types to Combine. Relays and Subjects can be converted to their Combine-counterparts using the toCombine() method, so you can use them as if they are regular Combine Subjects, and have them connected to your existing subjects.

    VerticalCardSwiper

    VerticalCardSwiper

A marriage between the Shazam Discover UI and Tinder

A marriage between the Shazam Discover UI and Tinder, built with UICollectionView in Swift. The goal of this project is to recreate the Discover UI in Shazam (which I think is a great, fun way to display content) in combination with a Tinder-style of swiping cards to the left/right. The idea behind this is that in some cases, you don't want to swipe away cards, but keep them available for later on. This implementation allows for that. And it's a fun way to interact with content.

    MTMR

The Touch Bar Customisation App for your MacBook Pro

My idea is to create a platform for creating plugins to customize the TouchBar. I very much like BTT and having a full custom TouchBar (my BTT preset), and I wanted to create it. It's my first Swift project for MacOS.

    InAppViewDebugger

    InAppViewDebugger

A UIView debugger (like Reveal or Xcode) that can be embedded

...The key distinction is, as the project title suggests, that this can be embedded inside the app and used on-device to debug UI issues without needing to be tethered to a computer. 3D snapshot view implemented in SceneKit: Gesture controls for zooming, panning, and rotating. Hierarchy (tree) view that synchronizes its selection with the 3D view: This is a feature I really wanted in Xcode, to be able to visually find a view and see where it is in the hierarchy view. Support for iPad and iPhone: Layouts are designed specifically for each form factor. Extensible: The base implementation supports UIView hierarchies, but this is easily extensible to support any kind of UI framework (e.g. CoreAnimation or SpriteKit)

    SwiftOCR

    SwiftOCR

Fast and simple OCR library written in Swift

...We currently support iOS and OS X. If you want to recognize normal text like a poem or a news article, go with Tesseract, but if you want to recognize short, alphanumeric codes (e.g. gift cards), I would advise you to choose SwiftOCR because that's where it exceeds. Tesseract is written in C++ and over 30 years old. To use it you first have to write a Objective-C++ wrapper for it. The main issue that's slowing down Tesseract is the way memory is managed. Too many memory allocations and releases slow it down.

    OAuth2

    OAuth2

OAuth2 framework for macOS and iOS, written in Swift

...OAuth2 requires Xcode 10.2, the built framework can be used on OS X 10.11 or iOS 8 and later. Happy to accept pull requests, please see CONTRIBUTING.md. Since the Swift language is constantly evolving I have adopted a versioning scheme mirroring Swift versions: the framework version's first two digits are always the Swift version the library is compatible with, see releases. Code compatible with brand-new Swift versions should be found on a separate feature branch named appropriately. In OAuth2 there are different kinds of flows. ...

    Reddit in SwiftUI

    Reddit in SwiftUI

A cross-platform Reddit client built in SwiftUI

A cross-platform Reddit client created in SwiftUI. To show off SwiftUI's strength in cross-platform development, I did not use Mac Catalyst for this project. Instead, common UI code is shared between iOS, macOS, and watchOS.

    Sizes

    Sizes

View your app on different device and font sizes

...Xcode 11 introduced Previews which is a fantastic way to quickly validate your UI in multiple scenarios just like Sizes did. If you'd like to know more about Xcode Previews I recommend this WWDC session. You can even use Previews with UIKit so there's no reason to stick to this library.

    LeeGo

    LeeGo

Declarative, configurable & highly reusable UI development

...Fortunately, there are also a bunch of approaches that aim to fix the problems, most of them mainly address the Controller part, such as MVP, MVVM, MVSM or VIPER. But there is barely a thing that addresses the View part. Does that mean we just run out of all the problems in the View part? I think the answer is NO, especially when we need our app to be fully responsive.

    Neon

    Neon

A powerful Swift programmatic UI layout framework

...You can use Cocoapods to install Neon by adding it to your Podfile. To get the full benefits import Neon wherever you have a UIView operation. Rather than design some arbitrary layout for a demonstration, I figured a good test for the practicality of Neon would be to replicate an existing screen from a major app, one that everyone could recognize. Now, keep in mind you'll probably want constants defined for many of these size/padding values, in order to keep the code cleaner and easier to maintain, but I decided to use real numbers for most of the values to make the code less obscure when new people are reading through the demonstration.
