    Siesta

    Siesta

The civilized way to write REST API clients for iOS / macOS

Drastically simplifies app code by providing a client-side cache of observable models for RESTful resources. The elegant way to write iOS / macOS REST clients. You need to display response data whenever it arrives. Unless the requesting screen is no longer visible. Unless some other currently visible bit of UI happens to need the same data. Or is about to need it. You should show a loading indicator (but watch out for race conditions that leave it stuck spinning forever), display...

CoreRender is a SwiftUI-inspired API for UIKit (that is compatible with iOS 10+ and ObjC). CoreRender uses a declarative API to define UI components. CoreRender includes the robust and battle-tested Facebook's Yoga as default layout engine.

    Async

    Async

Syntactic sugar in Swift for asynchronous dispatches

...Now more than syntactic sugar for asynchronous dispatches in Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) in Swift. Custom queues, dispatch block after delay, cancel blocks that aren't already dispatched. The way it work is by using the new notification API for GCD introduced in OS X 10.10 and iOS 8. Each chaining block is called when the previous queue has finished. The dispatch_block_t can't be extended. Workaround used, Wrap dispatch_block_t in a struct that takes the block as a property. AsyncGroup facilitates working with groups of asynchronous blocks.

    Motion

A library used to create beautiful animations and transitions for iOS

...Motion offers default transitions that may be used by UINavigationControllers, UITabBarControllers, and presenting UIViewControllers. Motion provides the building blocks necessary to create stunning animations without much effort. Motion's animation API will make maintenance a breeze and changes even easier. To create an animation, use the animate method of a view or layer and pass in a list of MotionAnimation structs. MotionAnimation structs are configurable values that describe how to animate a property.

    PanelKit

    PanelKit

A UI framework that enables panels on iOS.

This framework does all the heavy lifting for dragging panels, pinning them and even moving/resizing them when a keyboard is shown/dismissed. A lot of effort has gone into making the API simple for a basic implementation, yet very customizable if needed. Since PanelKit is protocol based, you don't need to subclass anything in order to use it. A panel is explicitly (without your action) shown in a UINavigationController, but the top bar can be hidden or styled as with any UINavigationController.

    Appz

    Appz

Launch external apps, and deeplink, with ease using Swift

...It was crucial to make sure the library can scale as the number of supported apps increase. Therefore, each supported app is implemented in isolation in a separate file. The API has been carefully designed to make the most out of auto-complete features, so you don't even have to peak into any docs or code! To make the specs as transparent as possible, the library has tests to make sure every external application action has tests with the expected results.

Plugins for .NET, Xamarin, and Windows

Plugins for .NET, Xamarin, and Windows

Cross-platform Native API Access from Shared Code

...Browse through the documentation on how to get started today. Plugins for Xamarin are community-built NuGet and Components that add cross-platform functionality or abstract platform-specific functionality to a common API. These are both completely cross-platform and extremely small (i.e., they do 1 or 2 things really well with minimal-to-no dependencies). The Plugin API can be accessed on each platform, however, you will most likely only use the common API in a .NET Standard project.
