    pastel

    pastel

A command-line tool to generate, analyze, convert and manipulate color

pastel is a command-line tool to generate, analyze, convert and manipulate colors. It supports many different color formats and color spaces like RGB (sRGB), HSL, CIELAB, CIELCh as well as ANSI 8-bit and 24-bit representations. pastel provides a number of commands like saturate, mix or paint. To get more information about a specific subcommand (say mix), you can call pastel mix -h or pastel help mix. Many pastel commands can be composed by piping the output of one command to another. You can also explicitly specify which colors you want to read from the input.

    Trunk

    Trunk

Build, bundle & ship your Rust WASM application to the web

Trunk is a WASM web application bundler for Rust. Trunk uses a simple, optional-config pattern for building & bundling WASM, JS snippets & other assets (images, CSS, SCSS) via a source HTML file. Any additional tools like wasm-bindgen and wasm-opt are automatically downloaded and managed by trunk. Therefore, no further steps are required. Get set up with your favorite wasm-bindgen based framework. Yew & Seed are the most popular options today, but there are others. Trunk will work with any...

    Lighthouse Ethereum

    Lighthouse Ethereum

    Ethereum consensus client in Rust

...Becoming an Ethereum consensus validator is rewarding, but it's not for the faint of heart. You'll need to be familiar with the rules of staking (e.g., rewards, penalties, etc.) and also configuring and managing servers. You'll also need at least 32 ETH! Security-focused. Fuzzing techniques have been continuously applied and several external security reviews have been performed. Built in Rust, a modern language providing unique safety guarantees and excellent performance (comparable to C++). Funded by various organizations, including Sigma Prime, the Ethereum Foundation, ConsenSys, the Decentralization Foundation and private individuals.

    Peroxide

    Peroxide

Rust numeric library with high performance and friendly syntax

Rust numeric library contains linear algebra, numerical analysis, statistics and machine learning tools with R, MATLAB, Python-like macros. Peroxide uses a 1D data structure to represent matrices, making it straightforward to integrate with BLAS (Basic Linear Algebra Subprograms). This means that Peroxide can guarantee excellent performance for linear algebraic computations by leveraging the optimized routines provided by BLAS. For users familiar with numerical computing libraries like...

    youki

    youki

A container runtime written in Rust

...Rust is one of the best languages to implement the oci-runtime spec. Many very nice container tools are currently written in Go. However, the container runtime requires the use of system calls, which requires a bit of special handling when implemented in Go. This is too tricky (e.g. namespaces(7), fork(2)); with Rust, it's not that tricky. And, unlike in C, Rust provides the benefit of memory safety. While Rust is not yet a major player in the container field, it has the potential to contribute a lot: something this project attempts to exemplify. youki has the potential to be faster and use less memory than runc, and therefore works in environments with tight memory usage requirements. ...

Learn to write Rust procedural macros

This is a workshop/repository by the Rust developer David Tolnay (dtolnay) intended to teach how to write Rust procedural macros (derive macros, function-like macros, attribute macros). The repo contains multiple toy/realistic macro projects drawn from real use-cases: e.g., derive(Builder), derive(CustomDebug), seq!, #[sorted], #[bitfield]. The README indicates the focus is on learning: parsing token streams, generating code, handling generics, attribute arguments, etc. It has test harness...

    DCV Color Primitives

    DCV Color Primitives

    DCV Color Primitives Library

...Aware of the underlying hardware and supplemental cpu extension sets (up to avx2). Support data coming from a single buffer or coming from multiple image planes. Support non-tightly packed data. Support images greater than 4GB (64 bit). Convert an image from bgra to nv12 (single plane) format containing yuv in BT601. You might want to propagate errors to the caller function or mix with some other error types. So far, buffers were sized taking into account the image pixel format and dimensions; However, you can use a function to compute how many bytes are needed to store an image of a given format and size. ...
