fast, portable Pascal compiler using gnu c as intermediate code
p5c is a fast portable iso standard pascal compiler. It is derived from the pascal p5 compiler and creates gnu c code instead of p-code. This makes it very fast since it uses gcc to generate native code. p5c is multi platform - it is easy to get up and running since you only need gcc to start. Using gcc enables extra tools like a static analyser and code coverage analyser. Action! is a programming language for the Atari 8-bit family of microcomputers. It features an integrated editor, a debugger, and a 6502 compiler. Action! was created by Clinton Parker and released on cartridge by Optimized Systems Software (OSS) in 1983. Its syntax is similar to that of ALGOL 68. Action! is significant for its high performance, which allows games and graphics demos to be written in a high-level language without the use of hand-written assembly language code. Action! language constructs were designed to map cleanly to 6502 opcodes. In 2015, Clinton Parker released the Action! 3.6 source code to the public under the terms of GPL. Delphi Cross-Platform Application Help
Ziphelp is a HTML-based cross-platform application help system
On the surface, Ziphelp is basically HTML in a compressed zip archive, hence the name. Pack any folder with HTML files into a zip archive and you are good to go. But Ziphelp is more than that, it is a protocol based on the standard sitemap protocol, designed to give a help viewer (here: the Delphi implementation) extended information about the content of the help system. That is help context numbers, help keywords, associative keywords, page titles. This information is missing in a standard sitemap.xml. Ziphelp extends the sitemap protocol and enables direct communication of an app with the help system. The Ziphelp protocol is not just for zip archives. It works inside an archive, with uncompressed folders or with HTML content loaded directly from a website. A Delphi desktop app may be deployed with local application help, uncompressed, zipped or embedded. A mobile or web application might not ship with local HTML content, but refer to an online version instead. -

EDITEL
EDITEL is a screen editor/code generator for GnuCOBOL programmers
One of the hardest things to do when coding with COBOL is translating a screen design into code. The process may take hours, not to say days. In my old BLIS-COBOL, COBOL 74 and COBOL 80 /85 days (and those last 2 had the SCREEN SECTION which helped a lot !), I recall spending a significant amount of time dedicated to that activity. Time that could be used for more productive activities like coding and resolving bugs, for instance. Having said that, I developed a Screen Editor (similar to a Screen Painter, as some tools may call it) which allows the user to create screen layouts (which includes the use of colors) with delimited fields and respective input masks, and finally generate the SCREEN SECTION code that reflects that layout. All of it automatically - no code needed. The idea came from a program I used to use named EDITEL. I have adapted the concept (it was originally built for BLIS COBOL systems) and created a version that does this for GnuCOBOL and Microfocus COBOL. Enjoy ! -

Bug Finder
A real Win32 extensible passive debugger
This project born a few years ago when I encountered a fatal bug on a production environment, unfortunately not replicable on my development machine. I spent many time finding a solution, using also freeware and commercial third-party tools and libraries, but none helped me because the bug crashed the process, and no of the above tools could be able to catch the exception before the process dying. Also, it was not possible to install a development environment onto the production machines, so the only solution was to develop a debugger which didn't need any user/developer interaction. I used many open source resources, then I decided to make the Bug Finder an open source project. It is built over a pluggable architecture to support other languages different from Borland Delphi (the one I used to develop my faulting application and the Bug Finder too).
