    EDITEL

EDITEL is a screen editor/code generator for GnuCOBOL programmers

One of the hardest things to do when coding with COBOL is translating a screen design into code. The process may take hours, not to say days. In my old BLIS-COBOL, COBOL 74 and COBOL 80 /85 days (and those last 2 had the SCREEN SECTION which helped a lot !), I recall spending a significant amount of time dedicated to that activity. Time that could be used for more productive activities like coding and resolving bugs, for instance. Having said that, I developed a Screen Editor (similar to a...

    crossdjgppv2

    crossdjgppv2

Cross compiling environment to DJGPP v2

Win32 hosted tools to cross compile to DJGPP v2 (CWSDPMI) for MS-DOS. The primary reason is to be able to cross compile Allegro 3.12 using GCC 2.7.2.3 & Binutils 2.8.1. Later versions of GCC / Binutils are unable to build Allegro which leads to people either compiling on DOSBox which is incredibly slow, or just giving up all together. So party like it's 1996!

    Mateusz's Saucy Editor

    Mateusz's Saucy Editor

    A simple console-mode text editor

Mateusz's Saucy Editor (MSEDIT) is a simple editor working in the DOS environment. I decided to write it, because I had been using the Microsoft's EDIT editor for years, without finding any free alternative. Of course, there is plenty of free DOS editors out there, but no one has ever matched my expectations (or should I say, my taste). I guess that's because I had already been "formatted" by the MS editor :-) You will probably notice that MSEDIT is very similar to Microsoft's EDIT. That's...
