WeUI is a UI framework that was officially designed by the WeChat design team and tailor-made for WeChat web development. It contains a set of basic style libraries that are consistent with WeChat’s standard visual experience. WeUI was made to ensure that WeChat users could have the same clean, uniform experience with all WeChat web services, and to make their perception of WeChat applets more unified and cohesive. WeUI covers everything from form factors (buttons, lists, sliders, etc.)...

...The UI follows clean, professional design patterns with attention to consistent spacing, typography, and component reuse. Interactive elements like carousels, tabs, and responsive grids are integrated to simulate real-world app behavior. Though it doesn’t implement backend functionality, the structure allows developers to easily plug in APIs or Firebase for a production-ready app. Its purpose is both to provide inspiration for design and to act as a boilerplate for developers starting an e-commerce project.

...Developers can define complex collection views from items, groups, sections, and dimensional rules instead of writing extensive custom layout subclasses. The same approach can create lists, grids, mosaics, nested groups, banners, and independently scrolling sections. An interoperability file helps projects share layout code between systems using the native API and those using the backport. The library closely mirrors Apple's API so migration requires minimal conceptual changes. It was created to reduce duplicate layout code during the transition to newer UIKit versions.
