    Fast Paginate for Laravel

    Fast Paginate for Laravel

A fast implementation of offset/limit pagination for Laravel.

This is a fast limit/offset pagination macro for Laravel. It can be used in place of the standard paginate methods. This package uses a SQL method similar to a "deferred join" to achieve this speedup. A deferred join is a technique that defers access to requested columns until after the offset and limit have been applied. In our case we don't actually do a join, but rather a where in with a subquery. Using this technique we create a subquery that can be optimized with specific indexes for maximum speed and then use those results to fetch the full rows.

    AIMET

    AIMET

AIMET is a library that provides advanced quantization and compression

...Quantized inference is significantly faster than floating point inference. For example, models that we’ve run on the Qualcomm® Hexagon™ DSP rather than on the Qualcomm® Kryo™ CPU have resulted in a 5x to 15x speedup. Plus, an 8-bit model also has a 4x smaller memory footprint relative to a 32-bit model. However, often when quantizing a machine learning model (e.g., from 32-bit floating point to an 8-bit fixed point value), the model accuracy is sacrificed.

    Thanos

    Thanos

Highly available Prometheus setup with long term storage capabilities

...Supports GCP, S3, Azure, Swift and Tencent COS. Use the same tools you love, such as Grafana and others, that support the Prometheus Query API. Downsample historical data for massive query speedup when querying large time ranges or configure complex retention policies. Thanos leverages the Prometheus 2.0 storage format to cost-efficiently store historical metric data in any object storage while retaining fast query latencies. Additionally, it provides a global query view across all Prometheus installations and can merge data from Prometheus HA pairs on the fly.

    ispc

    ispc

    Intel SPMD Program Compiler

...Under the SPMD model, the programmer writes a program that generally appears to be a regular serial program, though the execution model is actually that a number of program instances execute in parallel on the hardware. ispc compiles a C-based SPMD programming language to run on the SIMD units of CPUs and GPUs; it frequently provides a 3x or more speedup on architectures with 4-wide vector SSE units and 5x-6x on architectures with 8-wide AVX vector units, without any of the difficulty of writing intrinsics code. Parallelization across multiple cores is also supported by ispc, making it possible to write programs that achieve performance improvement that scales by both numbers of cores and vector unit size. ...

    Bend

    Bend

A massively parallel, high-level programming language

Bend is an interactive programming environment (REPL) built on top of the Kotlin language, designed to allow users to explore, experiment, and learn Kotlin in a live, feedback-driven manner. The tool lets you define variables, functions, or values at the prompt and iteratively refine them—immediately seeing output and types—while preserving state across commands. It emphasizes discoverability and experimentation: users can inspect functions, call them on sample inputs, and evolve logic...

    java-string-similarity

    java-string-similarity

Implementation of various string similarity and distance algorithms

...If the alphabet is finite, it is possible to use the method of four russians (Arlazarov et al. "On economic construction of the transitive closure of a directed graph", 1970) to speedup computation. This was published by Masek in 1980 ("A Faster Algorithm Computing String Edit Distances").

    Bat2015

    Bat2015

    Bachelor of Science (Informatik)

...Now, it is possible to use as many cores in a network as you want. With a focus on the MILP methods we implement a load balancing and speed up the solving process in a multiplicative way. Sometimes we have super-linear speedup with a small set of hardware. With a splitting of problems, parallel computing and distributing the actual best solution to all running processes we solve CBP much faster than a sequential processing can do.
