    pep484 stubs for Django

    pep484 stubs for Django

    PEP-484 stubs for Django

...The final goal is to be able to get precise types for the most common patterns. We are independent from Django at the moment. There's a proposal to merge our project into the Django itself. You can show your support by liking the PR. This project does not affect your runtime at all. It only affects mypy type checking process. The current implementation uses Django's runtime to extract information about models, so it might crash if your installed apps or models.py are broken.

    System Design

    System Design

Learn how to design systems and prepare for system design interviews

...It organizes core networking and distributed-systems concepts into a structured path, so you can build intuition before jumping into “design X” exercises. It covers the building blocks that show up in real architectures, such as DNS, load balancing, caching, CDNs, proxies, scalability and availability tradeoffs, and storage patterns, then connects those pieces to larger system goals. The materials are geared toward clarity and repeatability, making it useful both for self-study and for quick review before interviews. It emphasizes the why behind design decisions, not just a list of components, so you can explain tradeoffs under constraints like cost, latency, reliability, and growth. ...

    lo

    lo

A Lodash-style Go library based on Go 1.18+ Generics

...I used to code with the fantastic "go-funk" package, but "go-funk" uses reflection and therefore is not typesafe. As expected, benchmarks demonstrate that generics are much faster than implementations based on the "reflect" package. Benchmarks also show similar performance gains compared to pure for loops. In the future, 5 to 10 helpers will overlap with those coming into the Go standard library (under package names slices and maps). I feel this library is legitimate and offers many more valuable abstractions.

    django-import-export

    django-import-export

...This can be changed setting the skip_unchanged option. Also, the report_skipped option controls whether skipped records appear in the import Result object, and if using the admin whether skipped records will show in the import preview page. Not all data can be easily extracted from an object/model attribute. In order to turn complicated data model into a (generally simpler) processed data structure on export, dehydrate_<fieldname> method should be defined.

    X For You Feed Algorithm

    X For You Feed Algorithm

Algorithm powering the For You feed on X

...The repository contains the full pipeline that ingests user engagement and content candidate data, processes it through retrieval, hydration, filtering, scoring, and selection layers, and ultimately ranks posts to show what appears in a user’s feed. At its heart, the system uses a transformer-based model adapted from xAI’s Grok architecture to predict probabilities for various user actions (such as likes, replies, reposts, clicks, and negative signals), then combines those into a weighted final score that drives ranking.
