    Cerebral

    Cerebral

Declarative state and side effects management for popular JavaScript

...A declarative approach to application logic also allows us to build developer tools that builds the mental image of this complexity for you. It makes perfect sense for us to write our UIs with declarative code. The reason is that we need to reuse UI elements and compose them together in different configurations. UIs are complex. But what about our application logic? Applications are becoming more complex in nature as we push the boundaries of user experiences.

    RepoDB

    RepoDB

A hybrid ORM library for .NET.

...If you are to use RepoDB, your development experience is as simple as opening a connection and calling the advanced operations with a very minimal code. It is the reason that makes this library the simplest ORM to use. When you do the bulk operations, the generated value of the identity columns will be set back to the data models, just right after your execution. It is an important use-case that is/may needed by you and/or most developers.

    iOS Interview Questions

    iOS Interview Questions

    iOS interview questions

...Topics range from language fundamentals (memory management, ARC, value vs. reference types), to UIKit/SwiftUI, concurrency, Grand Central Dispatch, background execution, networking, design patterns, system frameworks, and architecture decisions. Each question is usually backed by sample explanations or code snippets, helping candidates understand not just what to answer but why it matters and how to reason about tradeoffs. Because the repo is maintained, it evolves to reflect changes in the iOS ecosystem: for example, newer Swift concurrency, Combine, SwiftUI, structured concurrency, or recent platform APIs. Many interviewers and candidates use it as a structured prep tool: reviewing categories, doing mock answers, or drilling tricky concepts.

    RxDart

    RxDart

    The Reactive Extensions for Dart

...Subjects provide multicast behaviors so multiple listeners can share a single data source while maintaining semantics like replaying the latest value. By emphasizing immutability and one-way data flow, RxDart helps isolate side effects and makes complex state transitions easier to reason about. It’s widely used to coordinate UI events, network requests, and caching layers, especially when timing and concurrency are non-trivial. The library aims to stay idiomatic with Dart Streams while giving developers the ergonomic power long associated with the ReactiveX family. In practice, it encourages clear separation between data producers, transformers, and consumers.

    Sidecar for Laravel

    Sidecar for Laravel

Deploy and execute AWS Lambda functions from your Laravel application

...Using Lambda through Vapor is a wonderful developer experience, but there are times when building your applications when you need to run just one or two Node functions for some reason. Common use cases could be taking screenshots with headless Chrome, generating images, or doing a server-side rendering of your Javascript frontend. When running on a serverless platform, it's not quite as easy as installing Node and running your functions. You don't have access to the server! So you end up deploying a single Vercel or Netlify function and calling it over HTTP or just forgetting the thing altogether.

    Orleans

    Orleans

Orleans is a cross-platform framework for building distributed apps

...As such, it helps developers experienced with single-server applications transition to building resilient, scalable cloud services and other distributed applications. For this reason, Orleans has often been referred to as "Distributed .NET". It was created by Microsoft Research and introduced the Virtual Actor Model as a novel approach to building a new generation of distributed systems for the Cloud era. The core contribution of Orleans is its programming model which tames the complexity inherent to highly-parallel distributed systems without restricting capabilities or imposing onerous constraints.

    Ansible-lint

    Ansible-lint

    Best practices checker for Ansible

...Its main goal is to promote proven practices, patterns and behaviors while avoiding common pitfalls that can easily lead to bugs or make code harder to maintain. Ansible lint is also supposed to help users upgrade their code to work with newer versions of Ansible. Due to this reason we recommend using it with the newest version of Ansible, even if the version used in production may be older. As any other linter, it is opinionated. Still, its rules are the result of community contributions and they can always be disabled based individually or by category by each user. ansible-lint checks playbooks for practices and behavior that could potentially be improved. ...

Delphi FMX JPEG loader with Exif

Small unit to load JPEG images in Delphi honoring Exif orientation

When you load a JPEG image in Delphi (both VCL and FMX), the image might appear rotated or even mirrored. This is often the case, when the image is a photo taken with a smartphone in portrait mode. The reason is that the JPEG contains an additional "Exif" header, which specifies the orientation of the image. In order to display the image correctly, you must read the Exif header and rotate, flip or mirror the image after loading, according to the orientation information in the Exif header. This small unit does it for you: it is the smallest and fastest JPEG Exif reader currently available for Delphi and automatically applies the necessary transformations to a TBitmap object after loading. ...

    90DaysOfDevOps

    90DaysOfDevOps

The journey towards a better foundational knowledge of DevOps

This repository is used to document my journey on getting a better foundational knowledge of DevOps. I will be starting this journey on the 1st January 2022 but the idea is that we take 90 days which just so happens to be January 1st to March 31st. The reason for documenting these days is so that others can take something from it and also hopefully enhance the resources. The goal is to take 90 days, 1 hour a day, to tackle over 13 areas of DevOps to foundational knowledge. This will not cover all things DevOps but it will cover the areas that I feel will benefit my learning and understanding overall. ...

    Caramel

    Caramel

Functional language for building type-safe applications

...Caramel leverages the OCaml compiler, to provide you with a pragmatic type system and industrial-strength type safety, and the Erlang VM, known for running low-latency, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems used in a wide range of industries. Excellent type inference, so you never need to annotate your code. Supports sources in OCaml (and soon Reason syntax too). Caramel aims to make building type-safe concurrent programs a productive and fun experience. Caramel should let anyone with existing OCaml or Reason experience be up and running without having to relearn the entire language. Caramel strives to integrate with the larger ecosystem of BEAM languages, like Erlang, Elixir, Gleam, Purerl, LFE, and Hamler.

    Angular Spotify

    Angular Spotify

Spotify client built with Angular 12, Nx Workspace, ngrx

...I still remember Window Media Player on windows has the visualization when you start to play the music, and I wanted to have the same experience when listening to Spotify. That is the reason I started this project. I found that there weren't many resources on building a proper real-world scale application, and that's my focus for sharing. I made a Jira clone application as the first one for that purpose. Nx workspace is getting more and more attention from the Angular community, but people are always confused about how to architect and set up an Nx project. ...

    CodeQL

    CodeQL

Libraries and queries that power security researchers

CodeQL is a semantic code analysis engine that treats programs as queryable databases, enabling users to write expressive queries that identify security vulnerabilities, logic bugs, and code quality issues across large codebases. Instead of just pattern matching text, CodeQL ingests source code, builds rich representations of structure and data flow, and allows queries that reason about control flow, type systems, and interprocedural relationships. This makes it powerful not just for basic linting but for deep detection of complex security flaws like SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and taint propagation that traditional static analyzers can miss. CodeQL is used by security teams, developers, and open-source tooling to create reusable query libraries, enforce policy across repositories, and automate findings in CI/CD pipelines.

    React Autosuggest

    React Autosuggest

    WAI-ARIA compliant React autosuggest component

...For example, render images and highlight the matching string. When the suggestions list is long, you may want to make it scrollable. Note that the suggestions are rendered even when the input field is not focused. The only reason id exists, is to set ARIA attributes (they require a unique id). When rendering a single Autosuggest, don't set the id (it will be set to '1', by default). When rendering multiple Autosuggest components on a page, make sure to give them unique ids.

    Pinject

    Pinject

    A pythonic dependency injection library

...The library leans on Python’s introspection to minimize boilerplate, making it natural to adopt in codebases that already rely on type hints or keyword arguments. Because bindings are just Python functions and classes, refactoring remains straightforward and the DI graph is easy to reason about. Pinject is particularly useful for medium-to-large services where configuration, logging, data clients, and business logic need clean separation without resorting to manual plumbing.

    doT

    doT

The fastest + concise javascript template engine for nodejs

...It shows great performance for both nodejs and browsers. doT.js is fast, small and has no dependencies. doT is a really solid piece of software engineering (I didn’t create it) that is rarely updated exactly for this reason. It took me years to grasp how it works even though it’s only 140 lines of code, it looks like magic. I used it in my other projects (e.g. ajv) as the smallest, fastest and most functional (all three!) templating engine ever made, that is particularly useful in all code generation scenarios where manipulating AST is overkill. doT allows arbitrary JavaScript code in templates, making it one of the most flexible and powerful templating engines. ...
