    Photo Stream

    Photo Stream

    Self-hosted, super simple photo stream

...You host it yourself, wherever you want (Netlify, Github Pages...), you're in control. Previously the recommended way to install Photo Stream was to fork the repository. In my opinion, this was not really optimal and being a fan of Docker I began working on optimizations to run Photo Stream in a container. That's why configuration has been moved from _config.yml to .env so when switching from the initial repo you will have to set up the .env file accordingly.

    WG UI

    WG UI

WireGuard Web UI for self-serve client configurations

...You can configure wg-ui using commandline flags or environment variables. If you however do not have the possibility or interest in having kernel module loaded on your host, there is now a solution for that using a docker image based on wireguard-go. Keep in mind that this runs in userspace and not in kernel module. Unless you use the userspace version with docker you're required to have WireGuard installed on your host machine. You can configure wg-ui using commandline flags or environment variables.

    Docker Sync

    Docker Sync

Run your application at full speed while syncing your code

Run your application at full speed while syncing your code for development, finally empowering you to utilize docker for development under OSX/Windows/*Linux. Developing with docker under OSX/ Windows is a huge pain since sharing your code into containers will slow down the code execution about 60 times (depending on the solution). Testing and working with a lot of the alternatives made us pick the best of those for each platform, and combine this in one single tool: docker-sync.

    git-chglog

    git-chglog

CHANGELOG generator implemented in Go (Golang)

...Get all the tags. Get the commits contained between tagA and tagB. Execute all tags corresponding to the tag query that was specified in Steps 1 and 2. The compiled docker images are maintained on quay.io. git-chglog requires configuration files and templates to generate a CHANGELOG. However, it is a waste of time to create configuration files and templates from scratch. Therefore we recommend using the --init option which will create them interactively. CHANGELOG style. Automatic linking of issues and notices, initial value setting such as merges etc. are done automatically. ...

    Twitter's Jetpack Compose Rules

    Twitter's Jetpack Compose Rules

Static checks to aid with a healthy adoption of Compose

Twitter Compose Rules is a set of custom ktlint rules to ensure that your compostables don't fall into common pitfalls, that might be easy to miss in code reviews. It can be challenging for big teams to start adopting Compose, particularly because not everyone will start at the same time or with the same patterns. Twitter tried to ease the pain by creating a set of Compose static checks.

    JavaScript and React Patterns

    JavaScript and React Patterns

Repo related to the FrontendMasters course on JavaScript and React

JavaScript and React Patterns showcases idiomatic patterns and anti-patterns for building React applications, focusing on readability, performance, and maintainability. It translates fuzzy best practices into concrete examples—how to compose components cleanly, manage state thoughtfully, and avoid foot-guns with effects and memoization. The guidance leans on modern React paradigms like hooks, context, custom hooks, and component composition to replace older, heavier patterns. Performance considerations appear throughout, such as when to memoize, how to minimize re-renders, and where to split components. ...
