Cheshire is a high-performance JSON encoding and decoding library for Clojure, built atop Jackson to combine fast parsing/generation with advanced support for types like Dates, UUIDs, Sets, Symbols, and the binary JSON SMILE format. Custom encoding is supported from 2.0.0 and up if you encounter a bug, please open a GitHub issue. From 5.0.0 onwards, custom encoding has been moved to be part of the core namespace (not requiring a namespace change). -

jsoniter (json-iterator) is fast and flexible JSON parser available in Java and Go. A good deal of the code is ported from dsljson, and JSON parser. Traditional JSON parsers are slow. Jsoniter Java version could be 3x times faster than jackson/gson/fastjson. If you are doing a lot of log processing or number crunching, but stuck with JSON, you definitely need to consider dsl-json or Jsoniter to save the encoding/decoding cost. Is protobuf 5x faster than JSON?. Jsoniter Golang version could be more than 6x times faster than standard lib (encoding/json). And the number is acheived with runtime reflection instead of go generate. -
