    AnyPS5

    AnyPS5

Tool for automatic PS5 executables porting to Linux and Windows

AnyPS5 is an experimental compatibility project for automatically porting PlayStation 5 executables to Linux and Windows. Instead of emulating an entire console, it relinks executables into native target formats and supplies replacement implementations for required system libraries. The project includes a shader recompiler that can produce SPIR-V for Vulkan-based graphics workflows. Unsupported conditions are deliberately surfaced as runtime errors rather than silently ignored....

    retroarch-ifjoy

    retroarch-ifjoy

Script to start Retroarch w/ different config depending on joystick

I love Retroarch, but something that always bothered me is that 6-button users are treated as second class citizens. Of course you can create core/game specific remaps, but sadly there are no device specific remaps. When you create a remap that works well with a 6-button fighting/Saturn gamepad or an arcade stick, it will suck with a 4-button gamepad, and vice-versa. It's impossible to create a single remap that's perfect for both 4-button and 6-button gamepads. I had to do something to avoid remapping every system or game, every time I want to play with a different controller. ...

    Wheefun Computer Prototyping Kit

    A Toolkit for Designing Computers

This package is designed for people who are a) interested in writing emulators or b) integrating this level of detain into their applications (e.g., a video game). The ability to do this is useful because a) it allows for tinkering far before physical implementation of the design is. In addition to a strong core, WFCPK will also include modules emulating various processors (e.g., the MOS 6502 and the Zilog Z80) as well as the Video-Audio Interface (a custom VGA-compatible display and audio controller). ...
