    puppet-reportprint

    puppet-reportprint

    CLI Viewer for Puppet Reports

puppet-reportprint is a utility for rendering Puppet reports into human-readable output that operators can scan quickly. It takes structured report data and formats it as concise summaries, highlighting changed resources, failures, and metrics that matter during triage. The goal is to help teams move from raw report artifacts to actionable insights without opening a full dashboard or writing ad-hoc parsing scripts. It is designed to fit naturally into existing Puppet workflows, making it easy to drop into pipelines or scheduled jobs that review infrastructure drift. By focusing on clear, consistent formatting, it reduces cognitive load when comparing runs across environments. ...

    Web design in 4 minutes

    Web design in 4 minutes

Learn the basics of web design in 4 minutes

...The lesson is intentionally minimal and time-boxed so beginners can grasp core principles without being overwhelmed by tooling or frameworks. It focuses on taste-building: why certain choices make text easier to scan, why rhythm and whitespace matter, and how contrast guides attention. By the end, readers understand a repeatable baseline they can apply to any content before adding brand style or components. It’s a fast on-ramp for developers who write UI but haven’t studied visual design formally.

So instead of worrying about how to compile for autoconf, autogen, bootstrap, cmake, or the traditional configure, make, make install, for each software title in your repo, builder will take care of all those details so you can...

    yo-yo.js

    yo-yo.js

A tiny library for building modular UI components using DOM diffing

...It’s inspired by patterns found in larger UI frameworks but stays extremely lightweight—only a few kilobytes when minified and gzipped—by leveraging existing tools like bel (for templating) and morphdom (for DOM updates). yo-yo underpins some higher-level frameworks and is ideal for developers who want direct control over components without the overhead of a full reactive framework. Its simplicity and elegant API make it a favorite for small to medium front-end projects where performance and minimalism matter.

    Icon Font to PNG

    Icon Font to PNG

Python script (and library) for exporting icons from icon fonts

...The best part is the provided shell script, but you can also use it’s functionality directly in your (probably awesome) Python project. There’s also font-awesome-to-png script for backward compatibility with the first iteration of the concept. You can use IconFont (and IconFontDownloader for that matter) directly inside your Python project. There's no proper documentation as of now, but the code is commented and should be pretty straightforward to use.

    State Controller Library

    State Controller Library

A C++ framework that implements generalised finite state machines.

...The structure and implementation of this library focuses on the application of finite state machines to real-time control loops, but can be reasonably adapted for virtually any other application, even completely unrelated to control systems. An emphasis has been placed on having very low overhead so as not to hurt overall system performance no matter where this library is used, while still maintaining ease of use. Code size has also been kept to a minimum. Aside from implementing standard finite state machines and multi-action planning state machines, this library can also be used to implement hierarchical state controllers, or any hybrid of the three. Please refer to the extensive documentation for more information. ...

    Sprint.js

    Sprint.js

A tiny, lightning fast jQuery-like library for modern browsers

Sprint is a lightweight DOM manipulation library that provides a familiar jQuery-style interface for modern browsers. Its compressed footprint is about 5 KB, making it useful where bandwidth and JavaScript parsing costs matter. The library exposes a chainable API for selecting elements, changing classes and attributes, manipulating content, traversing the DOM, and handling events. Most method names intentionally mirror jQuery so developers familiar with that library can adapt quickly. Sprint relies on newer native browser APIs and targets environments from Internet Explorer 10 onward rather than maintaining compatibility with much older browsers. ...

    intzip

    Fast compression of integer sets.

...Compression means that a suitable list of integers can be encoded to a (whenever possible) shorter list of the same integer format. An arbitrary set of integers (i.e., a collection of unique numbers where the order does not matter) may be transformed into suitable input data by way of translation and sorting. The main focus of the algorithm is to encode structural characteristics of a given list, such as coherent intervals and repeated distances. Therefore, the quality of compression depends on diversity rather than size. In most cases, IntZip is able to achieve much better compression results than general compression algorithms on such data sets.

High quality fast "true random" number generator (shuffling) for JS

This also means that it never generates any numbers in a predictable order no matter how many times you refresh. Pythia solves a great problem and is by far the best solution out there. How to use: var my_pythia = new pythia(); Pythia API: .generate - Generate a new random number. .reset - Reset and enable to restart and -probably- regenerate same numbers. Enjoy!

    MathX

    Fixed-length Arithmetic-types library

MathX is a fixed-length arithmetic-types written in pure c++ templates. The goal is to provide signed-integer, unsigned-integer, IEEE-754 float-point and fixed-point types, all with specific number of bits. To this moment, only signed-integer and unsigned-integer are completed for little-endain architecture. Any compiler that support c++03 or c++11 can successfully compile MathX. JPlex

    Java lexical analyzer generator

...JPlex lexers are NIO-based, DFA-powered, push-driven, and fully decoupled and reusable. Their state machines are precompiled and serialized, so run time initialization is fast no matter how large the rule set. JPlex is not a parser generator; it only generates an interface for its parsers, and it does not build a parse tree. When the lexer identifies a token that has a named event associated with it, it passes the token to the parser method associated with that event. A lexer can dispatch token events to any number of parsers. ...
