"Using Components with Known Vulnerabilities" is now a part of the OWASP Top 10 and insecure libraries can pose a huge risk for your web app. The goal of Retire.js is to help you detect the use of versions with known vulnerabilities. Scan a web app or node app for use of vulnerable JavaScript libraries and/or node modules. grunt-retire scans your grunt-enabled app for use of vulnerable JavaScript libraries and/or node modules. Scans visited sites for references to insecure libraries and puts warnings in the developer console. An icon on the address bar displays will also indicate if vulnerable libraries were loaded. Retire.js has been adapted as a plugin for the penetration testing tools Burp and OWASP ZAP. -

testssl.sh is a free command-line tool that checks a server's service on any port for the support of TLS/SSL ciphers, protocols as well as recent cryptographic flaws and more. testssl.sh is free and open-source software. You can use it under the terms of GPLv2, please review the License before using it. Works for Linux, Mac OSX, FreeBSD, NetBSD and WSL/MSYS2/Cygwin out of the box, no need to install or configure something, no gems, CPAN, pip or the like. OpenBSD only needs bash to be postinstalled. You can test any SSL/TLS enabled and STARTTLS service, not only webservers at port 443. Several command line options help you to run your test and configure your output. If a particular check cannot be performed because of a missing capability on your client side, you'll get a warning. You can look at the code, see what's going on and you can change it. -

Clair is an application for parsing image contents and reporting vulnerabilities affecting the contents. This is done via static analysis and not at runtime. Clair v4 utilizes the ClairCore library as its engine for examining contents and reporting vulnerabilities. At a high level you can consider Clair a service wrapper to the functionality provided in the ClairCore library. The main branch may be in an unstable or even broken state during development. Please use releases instead of the main branch in order to get stable binaries. Clair is an open source project for the static analysis of vulnerabilities in application containers (currently including OCI and docker). Clients use the Clair API to index their container images and can then match it against known vulnerabilities. Our goal is to enable a more transparent view of the security of container-based infrastructure. Thus, the project was named Clair after the French term which translates to clear, bright, transparent. -

The AWS Encryption SDK for C is a client-side encryption library designed to make it easy for everyone to encrypt and decrypt data using industry standards and best practices. It uses a data format compatible with the AWS Encryption SDKs in other languages. For more information on the AWS Encryption SDKs in all languages, see the Developer Guide. We will demonstrate some simple build recipes for Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems. These recipes assume a newly installed system with default installs of dependency packages. The Windows instructions install everything in your current directory (where you run the build process). The AWS Encryption SDK for C can be used with AWS KMS, but it is not required. For best results when doing a build with AWS KMS integration, do not install aws-c-common directly. Build and install the AWS SDK for C++, which will build and install aws-c-common for you (see the C++ SDK dependencies here). -

If you do not have one, go to Golang Getting Started on The Go Programming Language website, then download and install Go. An Amazon Web Services (AWS) account to access secrets stored in AWS Secrets Manager and use AWS SDK for Go. To create an AWS account, go to Sign In or Create an AWS Account and then choose I am a new user. Follow the instructions to create an AWS account. To create a secret in AWS Secrets Manager, go to Creating Secrets and follow the instructions on that page. MaxCacheSize int is the maximum number of cached secrets to maintain before evicting secrets that have not been accessed recently. Hook CacheHook is used to hook in-memory cache updates. -

Talking to APIs doesn't have to be awkward anymore. Low-fat wrapper for the amazing Axios HTTP client library. All responses follow the same flow: success and failure alike. Responses have a problem property to help guide exception flow, attach functions that get called each request, attach functions that change all request or response data. Detects connection issues (on React Native). The only required property is baseURL and it should be the starting point for your API. It can contain a sub-path and a port as well. The responses are promise-based, so you'll need to handle things in a .then() function. The promise is always resolved with a response object. Even if there was a problem with the request! This is one of the goals of this library. It ensures sane calling code without having to handle .catch and has 2 separate flows. -

An authorization library that supports access control models like ACL, RBAC, ABAC for Golang, Java, C/C++, Node.js, Javascript, PHP, Laravel, Python, .NET (C#), Delphi, Rust, Ruby, Swift (Objective-C), Lua (OpenResty), Dart (Flutter) and Elixir. In Casbin, an access control model is abstracted into a CONF file based on the PERM metamodel (Policy, Effect, Request, Matchers). So switching or upgrading the authorization mechanism for a project is just as simple as modifying a configuration. Besides memory and file, Casbin policy can be stored into lots of places. Currently, dozens of databases are supported, from MySQL, Postgres, Oracle to MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, AWS S3. Check the full supported list at: adapters. Casbin is implemented in Golang, Java, PHP and Node.js. All implementations share the same API and behaviors. You can learn Casbin once and use it everywhere. In Casbin, the policy storage is implemented as an adapter(aka middleware for Casbin). -
