...The primary way to identify nodes is via their type. It's OK to not know the structure of every AST node type. The (esprima) AST explorer is an online tool to inspect the AST for a given piece of JS code.

Static AST checker for accessibility rules on JSX elements. This plugin does a static evaluation of the JSX to spot accessibility issues in React apps. Because it only catches errors in static code, use it in combination with axe-core/react to test the accessibility of the rendered DOM. Consider these tools just as one step of a larger a11y testing process and always test your apps with assistive technology.

...The default JavaScript parser must be replaced because Vue.js single file components are not plain JavaScript, but a custom file format. vue-eslint-parser is a replacement parser that generates an enhanced AST with nodes that represent specific parts of the template syntax, as well as the contents of the script tag.

...One of CDN services like unpkg or jsDelivr can be used. By default (for short path) the ESM version is exposed. For IIFE version a full path to a bundle should be specified. CSSO is based on CSSTree to parse CSS into AST, AST traversal and to generate AST back to CSS. All CSSTree API is available behind syntax field extended with compress() method. You may minify CSS step by step. CSSO can use data about how CSS is used in the markup for better compression. File with this data (JSON) can be set using the usage option.

...ESLint allows for the use of custom parsers. When using this plugin, your code is parsed by Babel's parser (using the configuration specified in your Babel configuration file) and the resulting AST is transformed into an ESTree-compliant structure that ESLint can understand.

...I used it in my other projects (e.g. ajv) as the smallest, fastest and most functional (all three!) templating engine ever made, that is particularly useful in all code generation scenarios where manipulating AST is overkill. doT allows arbitrary JavaScript code in templates, making it one of the most flexible and powerful templating engines. It means that doT security model assumes that you only use trusted templates and you don't use any user input as any part of the template, as otherwise it can lead to code injection.

...Prepack replaces the global code of a JavaScript bundle with equivalent code that is a simple sequence of assignments. This gets rid of most intermediate computations and object allocations. Prepack operates at the AST level, using Babel to parse and generate JavaScript source code. At the core of Prepack is an almost ECMAScript 5 compatible interpreter — implemented in JavaScript! The interpreter closely follows the ECMAScript 2016 Language Specification, with a focus on correctness and spec conformance. You can think of the interpreter in Prepack as a clean reference implementation of JavaScript.

Optimize JS is an experimental JavaScript transformation tool created to reduce initial parsing and execution time in older browser engines. It parses JavaScript into a syntax tree and identifies functions that are immediately invoked or likely to execute eagerly. Those functions are wrapped in parentheses so engines such as older V8 versions can avoid unnecessary lazy preparsing. The tool can operate from the command line or through a JavaScript API and can optionally generate source maps....
