I wanted to build a plugin that would serve the newest of beginners, while providing seasoned developers a tool they could use with confidence. What has come forth is this, FlexSlider. I plan to maintain this plugin and provide support to users implementing FlexSlider into their sites. Responsive web design can be tricky, but I hope that FlexSlider serves to uncomplicate the process, just a little bit. -

All sizing and styling of the cells are handled by your own CSS. The height of the carousel is set to the maximum height of the cells. Cells can be different sizes. You can use any unit you like: percent, pixels, etc. You can use media queries to show different number of cells for different breakpoints. If you want to use Flickity to develop commercial sites, themes, projects, and applications, the Commercial license is the appropriate license. With this option, your source code is kept proprietary. Once purchased, you’ll receive a commercial license PDF and be all set to use Flickity in your commercial applications. If you are creating an open source application under a license compatible with the GNU GPL license v3, you may use Flickity under the terms of the GPLv3. You can use Flickity as a jQuery plugin. Flight is a lightweight, component-based JavaScript framework that maps behavior to DOM nodes. Twitter uses it for their web applications. By way of example, we've included a simple email client demo (browse the source) built over the Flight framework. There's also a flight implementation over on the todoMVC site. Flight uses jQuery and requires a module loader with support for AMD, like WebPack or Require.js. Please read the Flight documentation for installation instructions. Flight is distinct from existing frameworks in that it doesn't prescribe or provide any particular approach to rendering or providing data to a web application. It's agnostic to how requests are routed, which templating language you use or even if you render your HTML on the client or the server. While some web frameworks encourage developers to arrange their code around a prescribed model layer, Flight is organized around the existing DOM model with functionality mapped directly to DOM nodes. -

High-quality library definitions for Flow. flow-typed is a repository of third-party library interface definitions for use with Flow. When you start a project with Flow, you likely want to use some third-party libraries that were not written with Flow. By default, Flow will just ignore these libraries leaving them untyped. As a result, Flow can't give errors if you accidentally misuse the library (nor will it be able to auto-complete the library). To address this, Flow supports library definitions which allow you to describe the interface of a module or library separate from the implementation of that module/library. The flow-typed repo is a collection of high-quality library definitions, tests to ensure that definitions remain high quality, and tools to make it as easy as possible to import them into your project. All you have to do when you add one or more new dependencies to your project is run flow-typed install. -

This demo was inspired by how Medium handles embedded images. Made by Terry. This project was originally initiated as a personal challenge to replicate Medium’s lightbox module, but it soon developed into a full-fledged jQuery plugin. Each initialized Fluidbox instance can therefore be styled independently from each other using CSS alone, requiring no further manipulation via JS (unless required on the user's behalf for specific implementations). Fluidbox listens to the click event triggered on the ghost element, .fluidbox__ghost, and toggles between two binary states, open or closed. TThe latest version of Fluidbox require two dependencies: jQuery v1.7 or above, and Ben Alman's debounce/throttle plugin. -

Application architecture for building user interfaces
Flux is the application architecture that Facebook uses for building client-side web applications. It complements React's composable view components by utilizing a unidirectional data flow. It's more of a pattern rather than a formal framework, and you can start using Flux immediately without a lot of new code. Flux applications have three major parts: the dispatcher, the stores, and the views (React components). These should not be confused with Model-View-Controller. Controllers do exist in a Flux application, but they are controller-views — views often found at the top of the hierarchy that retrieve data from the stores and pass this data down to their children. Additionally, action creators — dispatcher helper methods — are used to support a semantic API that describes all changes that are possible in the application. It can be useful to think of them as a fourth part of the Flux update cycle. -
