    koka

    koka

    Koka language compiler and interpreter

Koka is a strongly typed functional-style language with effect types and handlers. The core of Koka consists of a small set of well-studied language features, like first-class functions, a polymorphic type- and effect system, algebraic data types, and effect handlers. Each of these is composable and avoid the addition of “special” extensions by being as general as possible. Koka tracks the (side) effects of every function in its type, where pure and effectful computations are distinguished. ...

    Servant

    Servant

Haskell DSL for describing, serving, querying, mocking web apps

...From a single API specification, developers can derive server implementations, client libraries, documentation, and more—ensuring consistency and type safety across the stack. We have a tutorial that introduces the core features of servant. After this article, you should be able to write your first server web services, learning the rest from the haddocks' examples. The core documentation can be found here. Other blog posts, videos, and slides can be found on the website. The core documentation can be found here. Unison

    Unison

A friendly programming language from the future

Unison is an open source functional programming language based on a simple idea with big implications: code is content-addressed and immutable. Unison’s core idea is that code is immutable and identified by its content. This lets us reimagine many aspects of how a programming language works. We simplify codebase management, Unison has no builds, no dependency conflicts, and renaming things is trivial. The same core idea forms the basis for a runtime that robustly supports dynamic code deployment, allowing a single Unison program to describe entire elastic distributed systems. ...

    Beam

    Beam

A type-safe, non-TH Haskell SQL library and ORM

...Beam is standards-compliant but not naive. We recognize that different database backends provide different guarantees, syntaxes, and advantages. To reflect this, Beam maintains a modular design. While the core package provides standard functionality, Beam is split up into a variety of backends which provide a means to interface Beam's data query and update DSLs with particular RDBMS backends. Backends can be written and maintained independently of this repository. For example, the beam-MySQL and beam-firebird backends are packaged independently.

    miso

    miso

    A tasty Haskell front-end framework

Miso is a small, production-ready, "isomorphic" Haskell front-end framework for quickly building highly interactive single-page web applications. It features a virtual-dom, recursive diffing / patching algorithm, attribute and property normalization, event delegation, event batching, SVG, Server-sent events, Websockets, type-safe servant-style routing and an extensible Subscription-based subsystem. Inspired by Elm, Redux and Bobril. Miso is pure by default, but side effects (like XHR) can be...

    Agda

    Agda

Agda is a dependently typed programming language

Agda is a dependently typed, total functional programming language and interactive theorem prover based on Martin-Löf’s type theory. It allows expressing programs and proofs in the same language, using the Curry–Howard correspondence. It features interactive development via Emacs, Atom, or VS Code. Agda is a dependently typed functional programming language. It has inductive families, i.e., data types which depend on values, such as the type of vectors of a given length. It also has...

    Reflex Platform

    Reflex Platform

A curated package set and set of tools that let you build Haskell

Reflex Platform is a curated package set and set of tools that let you build Haskell packages so they can run on a variety of platforms. Reflex Platform is built on top of the nix package manager. The core packages in Reflex Platform are known to work together and are tested together. the core packages in Reflex Platform are cached so you can download prebuilt binaries from the public cache instead of building from scratch. Nix locks down dependencies even outside the Haskell ecosystem (e.g., versions of C libraries that the Haskell code depends on), so you get completely reproducible builds. ...

    GHCJS

    GHCJS

Haskell to JavaScript compiler, based on GHC

GHCJS is a Haskell-to-JavaScript compiler that reuses GHC’s front end to compile Haskell source into JavaScript for execution in browsers and Node.js. It aims to preserve Haskell’s semantics—including laziness and rich types—by shipping a small runtime and shims for core libraries. Developers write normal Haskell, use Cabal/Stack to build, then bundle the generated JavaScript alongside required support code. Interoperability with the JavaScript world is provided through a foreign-function interface, allowing Haskell code to call browser APIs or Node modules and to be called back from JS. The ecosystem includes packages tailored to GHCJS (for example DOM bindings and FRP libraries), enabling full single-page apps written in Haskell. ...

    Asterius

    Asterius

    A Haskell to WebAssembly compiler

...It builds on GHC, lowers Haskell code to WebAssembly modules, and links them with a lightweight JavaScript runtime for I/O, GC interaction, and host integration. The toolchain provides commands to build and link (ahc/ahc-link), bundle assets, and target both browser and Node environments. Interop is a core focus: Haskell functions can call into JavaScript and vice versa, making it feasible to combine Haskell logic with web APIs. Asterius aims to keep as much of Haskell’s runtime model as practical while delivering the portability and startup characteristics of Wasm. By bridging GHC and WebAssembly, it opens a path to reuse Haskell libraries on the client side without switching languages.

    TensorFlow Haskell

    TensorFlow Haskell

    Haskell bindings for TensorFlow

The tensorflow-haskell package provides Haskell-language bindings for TensorFlow, giving Haskell developers the ability to build and run computation graphs, machine learning models, and leverage TensorFlow's ecosystem—though it is not an official Google release. As an expedient we use docker for building. Once you have docker working, the following commands will compile and run the tests. Run the install_macos_dependencies.sh script in the tools/ directory. The script installs dependencies...
