    sh

    sh

A shell parser, formatter, and interpreter with bash support

...If a given path is a directory, all shell scripts found under that directory will be used. When indexing Bash associative arrays, always use quotes. The static parser will otherwise have to assume that the index is an arithmetic expression. Some builtins like export and let are parsed as keywords. A subset of the Go packages are available as an npm package called mvdan-sh.

    GoReleaser

    GoReleaser

Deliver Go binaries as fast and easily as possible

...Generate SBOMs (Software Bill of Materials) for binaries and container images. GoReleaser was created to solve a problem we all had at some point: releasing software is boring and error prone. Generally speaking, those scripts tend to not be reusable and have dependencies on many other tools - which makes it hard to run the process on other machines. GoReleaser aims to make all these scripts obsolete: instead of writing scripts, you write a simple YAML configuration file; instead of many tools, you (usually) only need a single goreleaser binary.

    age

    age

A simple, modern and secure encryption tool (and Go library)

age is a security-oriented tool and library by Filo Sottile. age is a simple, modern, secure encryption utility (and Go library) that emphasizes minimal configuration and strong defaults. It provides small explicit keys, no complex options, and is designed for UNIX-style composability; you can pipe into it, integrate it into scripts, etc. It supports a clearly defined format and promotes interoperability across implementations (there are Rust, TypeScript, etc). The project is well-suited for personal data encryption, backup use-cases, scripting encryption workflows, and embedding encryption in tools. Because of its design philosophy, it avoids the bloat of many older encryption utilities while maintaining strong cryptographic hygiene. ...

    gojq

    gojq

    Pure Go implementation of jq

...You can also embed gojq as a library to your Go products. gojq is purely implemented with Go language and is completely portable. jq depends on the C standard library so the availability of math functions depends on the library. jq also depends on the regular expression library and it makes building scripts complex. gojq implements nice error messages for invalid query and JSON input. The error message of jq is sometimes difficult to tell where to fix the query. gojq does not keep the order of object keys. I understand this might cause problems for some scripts but basically, we should not rely on the order of object keys. Due to this limitation, gojq does not have the keys_unsorted function and --sort-keys (-S) option. gojq supports arbitrary-precision integer calculation while jq does not; jq loses the precision of large integers when calculation is involved.

    Starlark in Go

    Starlark in Go

Starlark in Go: the Starlark configuration language, implemented in Go

...Starlark combines Python’s expressiveness and readability with deterministic execution, making it ideal for defining build configurations, scripting automation, and embedding domain-specific logic in applications. The Go-based interpreter allows developers to run or embed Starlark programs directly within Go applications, extending them with user-defined scripts and configurable logic. Unlike Python, Starlark supports parallel execution across multiple threads and maintains deterministic behavior, making it suitable for scalable and reproducible workloads. It offers familiar syntax features such as dictionaries, lists, and first-class functions with lexical scoping.

    PingMe

    PingMe

PingMe is a CLI which provides the ability to send messages or alerts

PingMe is a personal project to satisfy my need to have alerts, most major platforms have integration to send alerts but it's not always useful, either you are stuck with one particular platform, or you have to do a lot of integrations. I needed a small utility that I could just call from my backup scripts, cron jobs, CI/CD pipelines, or from anywhere to send a message with particular information. And I can ship it everywhere with ease. Hence, the birth of PingMe. Everything is configurable via environment variables, and you can simply export the logs or messages to a variable that will be sent as a message, most of all this serves as a swiss army knife sort of tool that supports multiple platforms.
