    mgmt

    mgmt

Next generation distributed, event-driven, parallel config management!

Mgmt is a real-time automation tool. It is familiar to existing configuration management software but is drastically more powerful as it can allow you to build real-time, closed-loop feedback systems, in a very safe way, and with a surprisingly small amount of our mcl code. For example, the following code will ensure that your file server is set to read-only when it's Friday. It can run continuously, intermittently, or on demand, and in the first case, it will guarantee that your system is always in the desired state for that instant! ...

    Tilt

    Tilt

Define dev environment as code for microservice apps on Kubernetes

...See all the pieces of your app, and trigger custom workflows like seeding databases or creating infrastructure. Our engine starts the whole app and runs automated rebuilds as you edit in your IDE. Get a continuous feedback loop with your logs, broken builds, and runtime errors. Work with Kubernetes without needing to be an expert. And if you are an expert, no more 20 questions with kubectl. Tilt responsively handles the tedious and repetitive parts of your workflow and gives you peripheral vision so you find errors faster. Recapture the magic of hacking with immediate feedback.

    Open Code Review

    Open Code Review

    Open-source & free, battle-tested at Alibaba's scale

...It originated from Alibaba’s internal AI review assistant and was later released as an open-source project for broader developer use. The tool reads Git diffs, analyzes changed files, and generates structured review comments with line-level precision. It is designed to go beyond shallow diff feedback by letting the agent inspect full files, search the codebase, and use surrounding context. Developers can configure model endpoints, making it adaptable to different LLM providers and deployment needs. Its main value is bringing large-scale, agent-assisted review workflows into local and CI-based development environments.

    BuildKit

    BuildKit

Concurrent, cache-efficient, and Dockerfile-agnostic builder toolkit

...It’s a new codebase meant to replace the internals of the current build features in the Moby Engine. BuildKit emerged from the discussions about improving the build features in Moby Engine. We received a lot of positive feedback for the multi-stage build feature introduced in April and had proposals and user requests for many similar additions. But before that, we needed to make sure that we have capabilities to continue adding such features in the future and a solid foundation to extend on. Quite soon it was clear that we would need to redefine most of the fundamentals about how we even define a build operation and needed a clean break from the current codebase. ...

    Act

    Act

    Run your GitHub Actions locally

When you run Act it reads in your GitHub Actions and determines the set of actions that need to be run. It uses the Docker API to either pull or build the necessary images, as defined in your workflow files, and finally determines the execution path based on the dependencies that were defined. Once it has the execution path, it then uses the Docker API to run containers for each action based on the images prepared earlier. The environment variables and filesystem are all configured to match...

    Nocalhost

    Nocalhost

Nocalhost is Cloud Native Dev Environment

...When developing a cloud-based application in Nocalhost, any code changes can immediately take effects in the remote side, and there is no need to rebuild a new image. This can shorten the entire development feedback loop and massively improve R&D efficiency.

    graphql-go

    graphql-go

GraphQL server with a focus on ease of use

...While still under heavy development (internal APIs are almost certainly subject to change), this library is safe for production use. We're trying out the GitHub Project feature to manage graphql-go's development roadmap. Feedback is welcome and appreciated. A resolver must have one method or field for each field of the GraphQL type it resolves. The method or field name has to be exported and match the schema's field's name in a non-case-sensitive way. By default the library uses noop.Tracer. If you want to change that you can use the OpenTelemetry or the OpenTracing implementations.

    Concourse

    Concourse

Concourse is a container-based continuous thing-doer written in Go

...Each job has a build plan declaring the job's input resources and what to run with them when they change. Your pipeline is then visualized in the web UI, taking only one click to get from a failed job to seeing why it failed. The visualization provides a "gut check" feedback loop: if it looks wrong, it probably is wrong. Jobs can depend on other jobs by configuring passed constraints. The resulting chain of jobs and resources is a dependency graph that continuously pushes your project forward, from source code to production.

    Go Katas

    Go Katas

A collection of daily coding challenges

...Each kata prompt focuses on a precise aspect of Go, such as concurrency patterns, memory management, interfaces, error handling, or performance optimization, giving learners structured practice opportunities that go beyond syntax. Implementations can be tested locally, graded automatically with included test suites, and iterated on so that learners get rapid feedback and measurable progress. Because Go is widely used for backend services, cloud tooling, and systems programming, this repository helps participants build confidence in writing reliable, idiomatic, and maintainable code in real environments.

    Uber Go Style Guide

    Uber Go Style Guide

    The Uber Go Style Guide

...This guide was originally created by Prashant Varanasi and Simon Newton as a way to bring some colleagues up to speed with using Go. Over the years it has been amended based on feedback from others. This documents idiomatic conventions in Go code that we follow at Uber. A lot of these are general guidelines for Go, while others extend upon external resources.

    ASoulDocs

    ASoulDocs

ASoulDocs is a stupid web server for multilingual documentation

...It is your ultimate right to present the site to your users that is unique to your project. Integrate with popular commenting systems like Disqus, Duoshuo, and let users give you feedback directly without a hitch. Project documentation tools is an already-crowded place yet not both mature and affordable for the individual, especially OSS developers. Countless static site generators, documentation servers, and SaaS products, unfortunately, we are not happy with any of them. More importantly, we love and are capable of hacking on this area.

    go-daemon

    go-daemon

A library for writing system daemons in golang

...Now supported only UNIX-based OS (Windows is not supported). But the library was tested only on Linux and OSX, so if you have the ability to test the library on other platforms, give me feedback, please (#26). We can not use fork syscall in Golang's runtime, because child process doesn't inherit threads and goroutines in that case. The library uses a simple trick: it runs its own copy with a mark - a predefined environment variable. Availability of the variable for the process means execution in the child's copy. So that if the mark is not set - the library executes the parent's operations and runs its own copy with the mark, and if the mark is set - the library executes the child's operations.

    up

    up

A tool for writing Linux pipes with instant live preview

...The main goal of the Ultimate Plumber is to help interactively and incrementally explore textual data in Linux, by making it easier to quickly build complex pipelines, thanks to a fast feedback loop. This is achieved by boosting any typical Linux text-processing utils such as grep, sort, cut, paste, awk, wc, perl, etc., etc., by providing a quick, interactive, scrollable preview of their results. To start using up, redirect any text-emitting command (or pipeline) into it. Use PgUp/PgDn and Ctrl-[←]/Ctrl-[→] for basic browsing through the command output. ...

    lazynpm

    lazynpm

    Terminal UI for npm

...It is designed for developers who find themselves doing repetitive npm workflows — linking, building dependencies, installing, and so on — and want a simplified interface rather than remembering or typing long sequences of npm commands. The UI offers keybindings and visual feedback so you can navigate dependencies, install packages, run scripts, and link modules in a more interactive way. It is inspired by Duffield’s other tools (such as lazygit and lazydocker) in giving “the lazier way” to manage terminal workflows. While it supports Unix environments (macOS/Linux), it is noted that it is not compatible with Windows due to one of its dependencies (pty) being incompatible with Windows. ...
