Dynamic, functional language designed for building scalable apps
...Elixir is successfully used in web development, embedded software, data ingestion, and multimedia processing, across a wide range of industries. All Elixir code runs inside lightweight threads of execution (called processes) that are isolated and exchange information via messages. Due to their lightweight nature, it is not uncommon to have hundreds of thousands of processes running concurrently in the same machine. Isolation allows processes to be garbage collected independently, reducing system-wide pauses, and using all machine resources as efficiently as possible (vertical scaling). ...
...The project offers two implementations:
Implementation 1 is Algol68G: a recent checkout hybrid compiler/interpreter by Marcel van der Veer, supporting arbitrary arithmetic, partial parametrisation, complex numbers, POSIX threads, GNU plotutils, GNU scientific library, curses, sound, TCP sockets, RegEx and PostgreSQL.
Inplementation 2 is algol68toc, a port by Sian Mountbatten of the vintage Algol68RS (UK Defense Research Agency) compiler. The implementation emits C code.
Nana C++ Library takes aim at easy-to-use and portable library, it provides a GUI framework and threads for easy programming with modern C++ methods, such as traits, metaprogramming and other template technologies.

Management and simulation of Electric Vehicles activities
...Moreover, a large number of parameters, such as the number of chargers, the waiting queues, and the available energy can be easily configured. On top of this, the library supports the simultaneous operation of many EV activities through the efficient use of threads.

High-performance transactional memory for Common Lisp
...Instead of traditional lock-based programming, one programs with atomic memory transactions: if a memory transaction returns normally it gets committed, if instead it signals an error (Lisp slang for throwing an exception) it is rolled back.
Memory transactions can safely run in parallel in different threads, are re-executed from the beginning in case of conflicts or if consistent reads cannot be guaranteed, and effects of a transaction are not visible from other threads until it commits.
STMX gives freedom from deadlocks, automatic rollback on failure, and it aims at resolving the tension between granularity and concurrency.
Speculative Access to Memory is a library that allows programmers to create threads that access to memory regions speculatively. This means that the read data is not validated until the system is sure that all data dependencies have been resolved.
sigsafe is a C library for safely, reliably, and promptly handling signals delivered to specific threads without significant overhead. This is a common and challenging problem, and sigsafe can help. Please see the examples in the API documentation.
The Solaris-compatible Thread Library (STL) enables applications that use the Solaris threads API (thr_create(), mutex_lock(), etc.) to be ported to other systems that have a POSIX threads library. STL maps between Solaris types and POSIX types, and adds
