    pgsodium

    pgsodium

Modern cryptography for PostgreSQL using libsodium

pgsodium is an encryption library extension for PostgreSQL using the libsodium library for high-level cryptographic algorithms. pgsodium can be used a straight interface to libsodium, but it can also use a powerful feature called Server Key Management where pgsodium loads an external secret key into memory that is never accessible to SQL. This inaccessible root key can then be used to derive sub-keys and keypairs by key id. This id (type bigint) can then be stored instead of the derived key.

    dracxterm

    dracxterm

An Android terminal that can also run Linux, no root needed

...Open it and a shell is waiting. If you want a full Linux, the app can install Debian 13 or Kali inside its own storage, and you work as you would on a computer. The phone does not need root, and there is no account to create. The terminal draws colours and keeps scrollback, so full-screen programs like nano and htop look right. UTF-8 text displays properly, CJK included. You get five workspaces, each with its own shell and history, plus an extra key row for Ctrl, Alt, Esc and the arrows. Type xset to open the settings. ...

    kevux-tools

    kevux-tools

Provide common tools similar to coreutils and util-linux.

Provide common tools similar to coreutils and util-linux primarily for the Kevux systems. Simple commands like 'install' have proven to be problematic in that they might nit work well in change root environments where there is no mounted /proc filesystem. Provide simple replacements and other common tools utilizing the Featureless Linux Library. These will not be one-to-one or feature-to-feature replacements.

    barco

    barco

Linux containers from scratch in C

barco is a project I worked on to learn more about Linux containers and the Linux kernel, based on other guides on the internet. Linux containers are made up by a set of Linux kernel features. namespaces: are used to group kernel objects into different sets that can be accessed by specific process trees. There are different types of namespaces, for example, the PID namespace is used to isolate the process tree, while the network namespace is used to isolate the network stack.

    Selfie

    Selfie

An educational software system of a tiny self-compiling C compiler

...The common theme is to identify and resolve self-reference in systems code which is seen as the key challenge when teaching systems engineering, hence the name. Selfie is implemented in a single (!) file and kept minimal for simplicity. There is also a simple in-memory linker, a RISC-U disassembler, a garbage collector, L1 instruction and data caches, a profiler, and a debugger with replay.

    usbmuxd

    usbmuxd

A socket daemon to multiplex connections from and to iOS devices

...When usbmuxd is running it provides a socket interface at /var/run/usbmuxd that is designed to be compatible with the socket interface that is provided on macOS. You should also create an usbmux user that has access to USB devices on your system. Alternatively, just pass a different username using the -U argument. usbmuxd is not used for tethering data transfers which uses a dedicated USB interface to act as a virtual network device. The higher-level layers, especially if you want to write an application to interact with the device, are handled by libimobiledevice.

This installs a 'gumbo' module; pydoc gumbo should tell you about it. Tested on over 2.5 billion pages from Google's index. Passes all html5lib tests, including the template tag.

    eXtensible Modular Hypervisor Framework

Hypervisor R&D for recent x86 with support for DRTM + 2D paging

...XMHF advocates a "rich" single-guest execution model where the hypervisor framework supports only a single-guest and allows the guest direct access to all performance-critical system devices and device interrupts. XMHF currently runs on recent multicore x86 hardware virtualized platforms with support for dynamic root of trust and nested (2-dimensional) paging. The framework is capable of running unmodified legacy multiprocessor capable OSes such as Windows and Linux. Documentation available at: http://xmhf.sourceforge.net/doc

    prog89s52

    prog89s52

Utility for programming an AT89S52 via a parallel port.

...Remember that a clock source is required in order to program the device, and that EA must be tied to Vcc when programming the internal flash memory. Both binary and source may be freely distributed and modified, but both are provided without any form of express or implied warranty.
