    Battery Optimizer

    Battery Optimizer

Helps to improve the life expectancy of an electronic device's battery

...Most electronic devices when charged to 100 percent will continue to receive power from their charger, overtime this will slowly degrade the life expectancy of the lithium ion battery in the electronic device. The Battery Optimizer aims to increase the life expectancy of a lithium ion battery in an electronic device by automatically stopping power being fed to an electronic device when the battery has reached a set threshold. Some companies do this with their devices but are usually proprietary. -Lenovo does this with some of their laptops -Company called "chargie" already doing this for phones. ...

    IoT Leaf

Software resources for the ESP32 based IoT Leaf microcontroller board

The IoT Leaf is a small ESP32-based device which can be used as highly flexible power supply, as embedded controller or as a combination of both: it consists of a board which can be cut into two pieces resulting in two different devices or which can be used as one. The board can be powered via solar cell or USB and provides a battery charging function and deep-discharge protection for LiPo batteries. Beside the ESP32 the microcontroller part is prepared for a LoRaWAN and a GPS module. Both together provide a powerful hardware which can be used in many different scenarios. Details and the full specification are available at https://iot.halaser.de This repository contains different firmware-examples and applications which can be used together with this board as well as hardware designs which are free to be used.

    Did the pets eat?

AM/PM Digital Reminder (Pets, Pills, etc.)

If two or more people are responsible for something, either both do it, or none. Less often it only gets done once. This is an AVR ATTiny84 project that has features like putting the microcontroller to sleep to save battery. One button is to change from AM or PM, and the other is to turn on one of the LEDs representing the current choice for 5 seconds. The unit then goes to sleep, and the LEDs are off. It is powered by an 18650 and I put it all in a medicine bottle. A description of it's construction, as simple as it is, is at an instructable here: https://www.instructables.com/id/Did-We-Feed-the-Pets/ Current draw: Awake: 5 mA Sleeping: 0.13 uA (!)
