    PHP Desktop

    PHP Desktop

    Develop desktop GUI applications using PHP, HTML5, JavaScript

    PHP Desktop is an open-source project founded by Czarek Tomczak in 2012 to provide a way for developing native desktop GUI applications using web technologies such as PHP, HTML5, JavaScript and SQLite. Think of it as Electron for PHP. It is a convenient tool for converting PHP web apps and PHP CLI tools to desktop applications with little effort. The development workflow you are used to while creating web applications remains the same, there is no new framework / API to learn. ...

    wxWidgets

    wxWidgets

    Cross-Platform C++ GUI Library

    wxWidgets is a C++ library that lets developers create applications for Windows, macOS, Linux, and other platforms with a single code base. It has popular language bindings for Python, Ruby, Lua, Perl, and several other languages, and unlike other cross-platform toolkits, wxWidgets gives applications a truly native look and feel because it uses the platform's native API rather than emulating the GUI. It's also extensive, free, open-source, and mature.

    Halide

    A language for fast, portable data-parallel computation

    ...It isn't a standalone programming language however; rather it is embedded in C++ which means that you write C++ code, building an in-memory representation of a Halide pipeline using Halide's C++ API. This representation can then be compiled to an object file, or a JIT-compile and run in the same process. Halide also comes with a Python binding, allowing the writing of Halide embedded in Python without C++.

    Protocol Buffers

    Google's data interchange format

    Protocol Buffers are Google’s fast and simple, language- and platform-neutral, extensible mechanism for serializing structured data. It allows you to define how your data should be structured once, and then using a special generated source code, you can then easily write and read your structured data to and from a variety of data streams and using a variety of languages. Protocol Buffers currently supports a wide array of languages, including C++, Java, Python, Ruby, and many others with more to come.

    spdlog

    spdlog

    Fast C++ logging library

    spdlog is a header only library. Just copy the files under include to your build tree and use a C++11 compiler. It provides a python like formatting API using the bundled fmt lib. spdlog takes the "include what you need" approach, your code should include the features that actually needed. For example, if you only need rotating logger, you need to include "spdlog/sinks/rotating_file_sink.h". spdlog provides various log targets, which are, rotating log files, daily log files, console logging (colors supported), syslog, Windows event log, and Windows debugger (OutputDebugString(..)). ...

    C++ Requests

    C++ Requests

    C++ Requests: Curl for People, a spiritual port of Python Requests

    C++ Requests is a simple wrapper around libcurl inspired by the excellent Python Requests project. Despite its name, libcurl’s easy interface is anything but, and making mistakes misusing it is a common source of error and frustration. Using the more expressive language facilities of C++11, this library captures the essence of making network calls into a few concise idioms. If there's no package for your distribution, try making one!

    fmt

    fmt

    Formatting library as an alternative to C stdio and C++ iostreams

    ...The format API is similar in spirit to the C printf family of function but is safer, simpler and several times faster than common standard library implementations. The format string syntax is similar to the one used by str.format in Python. The library is fully type safe, automatic memory management prevents buffer overflow, errors in format strings are reported using exceptions or at compile time. The library produces compact per-call compiled code. The library is highly portable and relies only on a small set of C++11 features, like variadic templates, type traits, rvalue references, decltype, trailing return, types, deleted functions, alias templates. ...

    Tiny CUDA Neural Networks

    Tiny CUDA Neural Networks

    Lightning fast C++/CUDA neural network framework

    ...Lower-end cards must reduce the n_neurons parameter or use the CutlassMLP (better compatibility but slower) instead. tiny-cuda-nn comes with a PyTorch extension that allows using the fast MLPs and input encodings from within a Python context. These bindings can be significantly faster than full Python implementations; in particular for the multiresolution hash encoding.

    Easy Beginner's Environment in QT

    Easy Beginner's Environment in QT

    This is a port of the ebe programming environment to QT.

    ...It also handles C and C++ programs as well since there was not much extra effort. It used to support Fortran and this could return if people want Fortran. This project is an effort to recode ebe using C++ and QT. Originally ebe was coded using Python, Tkinter and Pmw, which worked out pretty well. The QT environment offers substantially better GUI controls. The most obvious difference is that Python ebe has a lot of separate windows, while the QT ebe will use 1 main window and a collection of dockable subwindows. This will make it easier to use.
