A genetic algortihm engine that evolves blackjack basic strategy.
This project is a genetic algorithm engine able to be reused for other projects with minimal additional programming. The genetic algorithm engine currently plays many blackjack hands for the fitness function and produces a result similar to blackjack basic strategy. To see it in action, download the zip file and run either: GABlackjack_Demo.exe (quick) or GABlackjack_Long.exe (slow, but it achieves better results). The code was written in C++, using MS Visual Studio 6.0 and MS Visual Source Safe 6.0. The genetic algorithm engine supports various mutation rates, ranked parental selection, stochastic sampling parental selection, cyclic crossover, crossover at each gene, cloning the best individual each generation, and creating random individuals each generation. ... -

VBA GetText provides basic I18N and L10N for Excel VBA projects.
VBA GetText consists of several Visual Basic for Application modules and classes to enable internationalization (I18N) and localization (L10N) for VBA projects. It uses the GNU gettext-compatible PO file format for string translations; therefore, translators will be able to use standard PO file translation tools (e.g., Poedit) to translate strings. The VBA components are being written and maintained for the xltoolbox project. -

Each library was built with Visual Studio 2012 in 32 and 64 bits without the Windows XP support. HOOPLE is a portable collection of C++ source code, featuring thread-safe objects for collections and event processing, RPC-style plugin-based encrypted networking (CROMP / octopus), bookmark collection management utilities, and a lot of other cool stuff. This is the project page for HOOPLE version 1, which was retired on September 25 2010. The code supposedly still builds on both Linux (with gnu gcc) and on Windows (with ms visual studio).
