    Source Map Support

    Source Map Support

Adds source map support to node.js (for stack traces)

...When code is compiled from TypeScript, CoffeeScript, Babel, or bundlers like Webpack, errors normally point to the generated code; this module intercepts V8’s stack trace API and remaps paths and line numbers to their original locations. The output closely mimics Node’s native stack format, so it feels like standard stack traces—but with your original source filenames and line numbers instead of opaque build artifacts. It’s designed to be easy to enable: you can require it programmatically or load it via a register hook so that all subsequent errors benefit. ...

    Twiggy

    Twiggy

Twiggy is a code size profiler

...It works by inspecting a binary’s call graph and providing detailed breakdowns of which functions are included and how they are interconnected, allowing developers to trace dependencies and identify unnecessary code paths. This makes Twiggy particularly useful in performance-sensitive environments such as web applications, embedded systems, and blockchain smart contracts, where minimizing binary size is critical. The tool offers multiple analysis modes that answer questions like why a function is present, how much space it consumes, and what dependencies pull it into the final binary. ...

    QIRA

    QIRA

    QEMU Interactive Runtime Analyser

QIRA is an interactive runtime analysis environment designed as an alternative to tools such as strace and GDB. It records program execution and lets users navigate through the resulting trace rather than inspecting only the current process state. Its interface combines a visual timeline with instruction views, registers, data changes, a hex editor, and syscall information. Users can follow instruction addresses, data accesses, function activity, and execution forks. The project integrates QEMU-based tracing and supports additional tracing backends, with libraries available for several CPU architectures. ...

    ParTools

Support for manual parallelization of sequential C programs.

ParTools allows the interactive analysis of a C program execution profile and data dependencies to facilitate the discovery and selection of suitable parallelization candidates in a manual parallelization process. The flow does not assume any specific parallelization technique, thus it can be broadly applied. The original (serial) C source is automatically annotated to trace the execution profile and data dependencies at run-time. The annotated program is then executed using a significant (but small) data set selected by the developer. The data collected is cross-referenced with the original source and can be interactively analyzed graphically to determine the best parallelization candidates and techniques.

    Illustrated Algorithms

    Illustrated Algorithms

    Interactive algorithm visualizations

Inspired by Grokking Algorithms and python-execution-trace, this project aims to reveal the mechanics behind algorithms via interactive visualizations of their execution. Visual representations of variables and operations augment the control flow, alongside actual source code. You can fast forward and rewind the execution to closely observe how an algorithm works. The same code that is displayed next to the illustration is also decorated using babel-plugin-trace-execution and executed to record the context at every step. ...

    Algorithms in Python

    Algorithms in Python

Data Structures and Algorithms in Python

Algorithms in Python is a collection of algorithm and data structure implementations (primarily in Python) meant to serve as both learning material and reference code for engineers. It includes code for graph algorithms, heap data structures, stacks, queues, and more — each implemented cleanly so learners can trace logic and adapt for their problems. The repository is particularly useful for people preparing for competitive programming, job interviews, or building a foundational understanding of algorithmic patterns. Because it’s openly maintained, you can browse through issues, see test cases, and observe coding style in a “learning through code” fashion. ...

    BRTracer

Fault localization using segmentation and stack-trace analysis

...BRTracer is built on top of BugLocator (homepage: http://code.google.com/p/bugcenter/). Our goal is to propose a more accurate bug-report-oriented fault localization using segmentation and stack-trace analysis. Our empirical results indicate that BRTracer is able to significantly outperform BugLocator on all the tree software projects (i.e., Eclipse, AspectJ, SWT) used in our empirical evaluation. BRTracer is written in Java. We provide a runalbe jar package and its dataset. Note that jdk 1.7 or newer is required to run BRTracer.

    MethodCallTrace4Java

Template for AspectJ, by which you can trace back the method call.

...Sometimes, we need to clarify the relationship among those 3rd party Java classes. And Aspect by AspectJ can shed light on our way. This project is the template for the Aspect by AspectJ. By the pointcut for the method call, we can trace back'who calls it. The word 'who' in this context is: Which method of which class For instance ... By the pointcut for: com.thirdparty.Foo.bar() we can trace: Which method of which class calls: com.thirdparty.Foo.bar() $. Requirements This project depends on: AspectJ Ant

    glu

    glu

    Deployment Automation Platform

...It represents desired system state in a declarative model and coordinates agents to converge reality with that model, handling steps like install, start, verify, and promote. The system provides auditing and versioning of deployments, so operators can trace what changed, when, and why. A central console and APIs allow visualizing the topology, triggering rollouts, and performing controlled actions such as canaries and rolling updates. Under the hood it coordinates distributed nodes, tolerating partial failures while continuing to drive toward the target state. By separating deployment recipes from environment specifics, glu encourages repeatable, testable releases for multi-service stacks.

    alio

    An "Alternative IO" layer.

The alio library can be dynamically pre-linked to existing executables and replaces file IO (i.e. calls to glibc's IO functions). This allows to gather statistics about IO, create IO trace files, or even implement a different IO behaviour (e.g. use separate IO servers to handle IO).
