CadQuery is an intuitive, easy-to-use Python library for building parametric 3D CAD models. It has several goals. Build models with scripts that are as close as possible to how you’d describe the object to a human, using a standard, already established programming language. Create parametric models that can be very easily customized by end users. Output high-quality CAD formats like STEP and AMF in addition to traditional STL. Provide a non-proprietary, plain text model format that can be edited and executed with only a web browser. The scripts use a standard programming language, Python, and thus can benefit from the associated infrastructure. This includes many standard libraries and IDEs. CadQuery's CAD kernel Open CASCADE Technology (OCCT) is much more powerful than the CGAL used by OpenSCAD. OpenVR is an API and runtime that allows access to VR hardware from multiple vendors without requiring that applications have specific knowledge of the hardware they are targeting. This repository is an SDK that contains the API and samples. The runtime is under SteamVR in Tools on Steam. The OpenVR API provides a game with a way to interact with Virtual Reality displays without relying on a specific hardware vendor's SDK. It can be updated independently of the game to add support for new hardware or software updates. This means that you can access the position of the headset using only one API call and it works for all headset brands (Oculus, Mixed Reality, Vive, etc)! The API is implemented as a set of C++ interface classes full of pure virtual functions. When an application initializes the system it will return the interface that matches the header in the SDK used by that application. -

Popcorn Time for iOS

PopcornTimeTV was an Apple TV, iPhone and iPad application to torrent movies and tv shows for streaming. Since 2016, this project has grown exponentially - both in its user base and in its functionality. However, the team size has gone the other way. We went from having 13+ developers on the team to 1 developer and 1 designer, both of whom have lives and projects outside of Popcorn Time. We have decided that we have given our all to this project and it's time for us to move on to pursue greater things. There is no doubt that this comes with a heavy heart as we have learned so much from this project and watched it grow from this simple torrenting app that could only play 720p video, to what it is today. All that being said, we do not want this project to just die after we leave. The size of the project might be a bit daunting to an unseasoned developer but the app is extremely stable and packed with almost every feature you could need. -

Scrcpy GUI

Scrcpy was created by the team behind the popular Android emulator Genymotion, but it is not an Android emulator itself, it displays and controls Android devices connected via USB or TCP/IP, it does not require any root access. It works with GNU/Linux, Windows, and MacOS. Scrcpy works by running a server on your Android device, and the desktop application communicates using USB (or using ADB tunneling wireless). The server streams the H.264 video of the device screen. The client decodes the video frames and displays them. The client captures input (keyboard and mouse) events, sends them to the server, and the server injects them into the device. If you want to see your Android screen interact with the app or content on your desktop, record your phone screen or perform other basic tasks, then Scrcpy is a good choice. In short, Scrcpy is an excellent way to easily view your Android screen on your computer and interact with it in real time. -

EmojiOne Color SVGinOT Font
A color and B&W emoji SVGinOT font built from EmojiOne artwork with support for ZWJ, skin tone diversity and country flags. The font works in all operating systems, but will currently only show color emoji in Firefox, Thunderbird, Photoshop CC 2017, and Windows Edge V38.14393+. This is not a limitation of the font, but of the operating systems and applications. Regular B&W outline emoji are included for backward/fallback compatibility. SVG in Open Type is a standard by Adobe and Mozilla for color OpenType and Open Font Format fonts. It allows font creators to embed complete SVG files within a font enabling full color and even animations. There are more details in the SVGinOT proposal and the OpenType SVG table specifications. The default serif, sans-serif and monospace font for most Linux distributions is DejaVu. DejaVu includes a wide range of symbols that override the EmojiOne Color characters. -

Distributed tracing system to gather timing data
Zipkin is a distributed tracing system. It helps gather timing data needed to troubleshoot latency problems in service architectures. Features include both the collection and lookup of this data. If you have a trace ID in a log file, you can jump directly to it. Otherwise, you can query based on attributes such as service, operation name, tags and duration. Some interesting data will be summarized for you, such as the percentage of time spent in a service, and whether or not operations failed. The Zipkin UI also presents a Dependency diagram showing how many traced requests went through each application. This can be helpful for identifying aggregate behavior including error paths or calls to deprecated services. Applications need to be “instrumented” to report trace data to Zipkin. -

In the Samples directory, you will find samples that attempt to break off specific features and specific usage scenarios into bite-sized chunks. For example, the ExecuteIndirect sample will show you just enough about execute indirect to get started with that feature without diving too deep into multiengine whereas the nBodyGravity sample will delve into multiengine without touching on the execute indirect feature etc. By doing this, we hope to make it easier to get started with DirectX 12. D3D12 Mesh Shaders sample demonstrates how Mesh shaders can be used to increase the flexibility and performance of the geometry pipeline. D3D12 Variable Rate Shading sample demonstrates how shading rate can be reduced with little or no reduction in visual quality, leading to “free” performance. -

Filament is a real-time physically-based renderer written in C++. It is mobile-first, but also multi-platform. We are very conscientious about keeping Filament small, fast to load, and focused on rendering. For example, Filament does not compile materials at run time. Instead, we provide a command line tool (matc) that does this offline. Filament is a physically based rendering (PBR) engine for Android. The goal of Filament is to offer a set of tools and APIs for Android developers that will enable them to create high quality 2D and 3D rendering with ease. For both artists and developers, our system will rely on as few parameters as possible to reduce trial and error and allow users to quickly master the material model. A physically based approach must not preclude non-realistic rendering. User interfaces for instance will need unlit materials. Our primary goal is to design and implement a rendering system able to perform efficiently on mobile platforms. -
