    retroarch-ifjoy

    retroarch-ifjoy

Script to start Retroarch w/ different config depending on joystick

I love Retroarch, but something that always bothered me is that 6-button users are treated as second class citizens. Of course you can create core/game specific remaps, but sadly there are no device specific remaps. When you create a remap that works well with a 6-button fighting/Saturn gamepad or an arcade stick, it will suck with a 4-button gamepad, and vice-versa. It's impossible to create a single remap that's perfect for both 4-button and 6-button gamepads.

    Jazenga Glide

A polylingual IDE based on Lazarus

...This framework is based on the principles of Peter Dunne, which allows for the reuse of translated keywords and phrases via a centrally managed translation memory system. The project aims to modify the entire LCL at low level to include natural language support structures which are then inherited by all LCL components, thus realizing an IDE in which all forms are naturally multi-lingual. This of course will be further supported by string translation tools and central resource management. This strategy will reduce the time and cost of translation of projects while putting tools in the hands of end users which allow them to crowd source translations in a manner never before available In addition to the language support being developed, a new project expert is under development which will allow developers to rapidly create a full feature application

    Dates

Fast calendar calculations for 10,000 years (Julian and Gregorian)

...This project gives you very short pure date routines that are the fastest ones that you can get, because they don't need any looping for doing their calculations, and they do their calculations from 1/1/0 up to 12/31/9999. Of course they precisely consider the transition from Julian to Gregorian calendar. ;-)

    jpegant

    jpegant

    Embedded JPEG encoder

Jpegant is a compact JPEG encoder for embedded applications. It is intended to be executed on small microcontrollers or microprocessors. High speed and small memory usage is its main concern. It implements a subset of JPEG standard. Now the code contains JPEG decoder so if you decided to use nonstandard transform or entropy coding in encoder you still will be able to decode bitstream (provided that you keep the decoder in sync of course). Release 1.1 source code and Windows...

    moodle-javalib

    moodle-javalib

Java client library for Moodle 2.x REST Web Services

...Further work in this area has shown the feasibility of developing a client library, which could be used in the Information Systems developed for the Java platform, in order to ensure their interaction with the Moodle platform. The advantage of using such a library is the ability for developers to operate by Moodle objects, such as a course, category, cohort, user, group, etc.in object-orienting programming style. This project aims to engage students in software development for Java platform using modern tools and development tools, as well as project management system.

    Frost Programming Language

    Frost Programming Language

    Frost Programming Language Interpreter

Frost is an interpreted structured programming language based on C and Objective-C. It has dynamically typed variables, named function parameters, implicit memory allocation, and automatic garbage collection through reference counting (for arrays). As any major interpreted language, you can easily create bindings of your C library functions to Frost. Its interpreter is written in C, and it only uses libC and POSIX system calls (Lex and Yacc are not required). You can easily compile it on Linux or OS X using the included Makefile.

    KGJlib

A Java library containing classes that I wrote and am happy to share.

KGJlib is a Java library containing various different helper classes, etc. that I have written over the course of time. I open-sourced the library so that I could re-use it in any project I contribute to, and I'm developing it on SourceForge so that others can benefit from it too. The library contains useful classes for audio, JavaBeans, I/O operations, various type conversions, etc. One particularly interesting tool I developed is the NetSharedVariable system, which allows named variables (currently strings only) to be shared between different Java applications or apps that implement KGJlib on a single machine. ...

    Concur memory allocator

An extremely scalable multithreaded drop-in malloc() replacement

Concur is an extremely scalable multithreaded transparent drop-in replacement for malloc() and other standard memory allocation calls. Scales linearly to any number of CPU cores. More scalable and memory efficient than mtmalloc, ptmalloc, Hoard, etc. Allocations are very fast, with no lock contention and the least memory waste of any other allocator. Concur is optimized especially for applications that make heavy use of memory allocation in a threaded environment, or that just want to...

    Wittgen

WIttgen is a two-instruction programming language modeled on the mind.

...Lastly, it has a special variable called “Doing Now”. Every execution step consists of retrieving the contents of Doing Now, removing the first assign found in that content and performing that assign. In the course of performing that assign any retrieve operations indicated in the text are performed before committing the assign. That is all there the system does. The driving motivation for this design is that as far as we know, the human mind supports these two instructions. It may have additional mechanisms that create new assigns, but using the results of these mechanisms requires a system built from these instructions.
