    niv

    niv

Easy dependency management for Nix projects

...It uses a single file, nix/sources.json, where it stores the data necessary for fetching and updating the packages. Nix is a very powerful tool for building code and setting up environments. niv complements it by making it easy to describe and update remote dependencies (URLs, GitHub repos, etc). It is a simple, practical alternative to Nix flakes. The add command will infer information about the package being added, when possible. This works very well for GitHub repositories. Run this command to add jq to your project.

    Photo Stream

    Photo Stream

    Self-hosted, super simple photo stream

...Problem is it's hard to really own your photos and how they're represented across social media these days, so we set out to make a place for them. You host it yourself, wherever you want (Netlify, Github Pages...), you're in control. Previously the recommended way to install Photo Stream was to fork the repository. In my opinion, this was not really optimal and being a fan of Docker I began working on optimizations to run Photo Stream in a container. That's why configuration has been moved from _config.yml to .env so when switching from the initial repo you will have to set up the .env file accordingly.

    Useful Forks

    Useful Forks

Improving GitHub's Forks list discoverability through auto-filtering

...The criteria is simple: if a fork was created, but never received any other activity on its master branch, it is filtered out. Adding a sorted list of starred forks to the GitHub forks page. Results are filtered out if there were never any commits pushed on the main branch since the fork was created. This is meant to help increase the discoverability of useful forks of open-source projects. Sometimes, a project might be abandoned, or someone had a different idea of how it should be implemented... and when you go looking for those interesting forks, you find yourself searching through potentially hundreds of them. ...

    ScrollTrigger

    ScrollTrigger

Let your page react to scroll changes

The most basic usage of ScrollTrigger is to trigger classes based on the current scroll position. E.g. when an element enters the viewport, fade it in. You can add custom offsets per element, or set offsets on the viewport (e.g. always trigger after the element reaches 20% of the viewport) When using the callbacks ScrollTrigger becomes really powerful. You can run custom code when an element enters/becomes visible, and even return Promises to halt the trigger if the callback fails. This...

    Corefx

    Corefx

This repo is used for servicing PR's for .NET Core 2.1 and 3.1

...This repo contains the code to build the .NET runtime, libraries and shared host (dotnet) installers for all supported platforms, as well as the sources to .NET runtime and libraries. .NET’s repository structure on GitHub was initially created in a fairly fine-grained manner, with the aim of enabling runtime agility and increased developer productivity. However, this separation has led to a variety of complications for contributors and maintainers alike. Because the runtime, CoreLib, and the core libraries are all intricately linked, changing runtime behaviors, adding new APIs, or changing various build processes (e.g. improving static analysis) often requires multiple PRs carefully staged across time and multiple repos.
