mySQLweb is web interface for building SQL queries to MySQL databse. Query builder allows user to add and remove tables, set relations, apply criterias etc. Results are output in a table. The look is easy to change - it is simply CSS formatted XHTML.

...NOTE: this project has been abandoned years ago. The code in the repository needs some fixing in order to be usable. Also, it needs a security review, especially in the query building part: as it is, %h, %R and %e placeholders could lead to SQL injection. If anyone wishes to maintain the project, just let me know.

...The solution was a simple "drop in" replacement for the mysql_query call. From there, a simple search/replace on the codebase. The auditor will capture "who did what" and "when". It is also smart enough to fully parse the raw MySQL query and compare updates to existing rows. Only actual changes are recorded in the audit log (database table) regardless of the SQL. Finally, a simple web viewer for reviewing and managing the audit trail. Job done. :-)
