    GHDL

    GHDL

    VHDL 2008/93/87 simulator

...By using a code generator (LLVM, GCC or, x86_64/i386 only, a built-in one), it is much faster than any interpreted simulator. It can handle very large designs, such as leon3/grlib. GHDL runs on GNU/Linux, Windows and macOS; on x86, x86_64, armv6/armv7/aarch32, aarch64 and ppc64. You can freely download nightly assets, use OCI images (aka Docker/Podman containers), or try building it on your own machine.

    OpenLoco

    OpenLoco

An open source re-implementation of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion

...OpenLoco is an open-source re-implementation of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion (CSL), the spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon. OpenLoco aims to improve the game similar to how OpenTTD improved Transport Tycoon, and OpenRCT2 improved RollerCoaster Tycoon. CSL was originally written in x86 assembly, building on top of the RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 engine. However, the engine has changed substantially enough that OpenLoco currently does not share its codebase with OpenRCT2. The reimplementation efforts of OpenLoco are gradual, aiming to ultimately rewrite the entire game in C++. In the earlier years of the project, the in-game UI has been completely reimplemented, and most of the underlying data and object structures have been uncovered. ...

    DAE Tools Project

Object-oriented equation-based modelling and optimisation software

DAE Tools is a cross-platform equation-based object-oriented modelling, simulation and optimisation software. It is not a modelling language nor a collection of numerical libraries but rather a higher level structure – an architectural design of interdependent software components providing an API for: - Model development/specification - Activities on developed models, such as simulation, optimisation, sensitivity analysis and parameter estimation - Processing of the results, such as...
