    DAE Tools Project

    DAE Tools Project

Object-oriented equation-based modelling and optimisation software

DAE Tools is a cross-platform equation-based object-oriented modelling, simulation and optimisation software. It is not a modelling language nor a collection of numerical libraries but rather a higher level structure – an architectural design of interdependent software components providing an API for: - Model development/specification - Activities on developed models, such as simulation, optimisation, sensitivity analysis and parameter estimation - Processing of the results, such as plotting and exporting to various file formats - Report generation - Code generation, co-simulation and model exchange The following class of problems can be solved by DAE Tools: - Initial value problems of implicit form - Index-1 DAE systems - With lumped or distributed parameters - Steady-state or dynamic - Continuous with some elements of event-driven systems

    SIMtoEXP

For comparison of simulation and experimental scattering data

SIMulation to EXPeriment is software that allows the direct comparison of simulation density information with that obtained from X-ray and neutron scattering experiments, by converting the simulation data to form factors. It also calculates volume probability distributions according to a space filling volumetric model. Written in C++ and Qt, SIMtoEXP has a very simple and easy to use GUI with interactive plotting.

***** Discontinued (may still work but will not be updated and supported anymore) ***** This extension connects the simulation platform NetLogo with the statistical analysis software R via Rserve. It adds some new primitives to NetLogo, which offers the interchange of data with R and the call of R functions from NetLogo. See the documentation for more details. There is a similar extension, which use a direct connection to R via rJava/JRI, see http://r-ext.sourceforge.net. This extension is a little bit more complicated to set up but offers some more functionalities (e.g. interactive shell, more plotting functionalities). _______________________________________ Please have also a look on our info page about other NetLogo extensions at http://www.uni-goettingen.de/en/315075.html.
