    PF_HP

    PF_HP

Prediction of proteinfolding in 2D HP model

Even in the simplified two dimensional HP-model (hydrophob/polar) the prediction of proteinfolding is NP complete. We implement a brute force algorithm with serial and parallel execution to solve short inputs of HP sequences (0-1 bitstrings). Acoustic Research Tool (ART)

    Acoustic Research Tool (ART)

Acoustic Simulation Library for Frequency and Time Domain Simulations.

...Parameters can be specified symbolically by expressions containing other parameter values or global variables. Dependencies between parameters are resolved at run time. However, MuParserX expressions are compiled at design time. Zero-delay loops are detected and reported.

    RSchr-5

Solves one-electron Schrödinger equation, with SLEPc and PETSc

RSchr-5 calculates the smallest eigenvalues of the one-electron Schrödinger equation. The solved problem is defined on the finite domain, which is a box. The problem is solved with the zero Dirichlet boundary conditions. The implemented algorithm uses Finite Element Method with B-splines as basis functions. Disctretization leads to generalized eigenvalue problem. Program RSchr-5 solves the generalized eigenvalue problem by algorithms implemented in SLEPc amd PETSc libraries. It uses Krylov-Schur algorithm from SLEPc library. ...

    Testability Measurement Tool

    Testability Measurement Tool

Performs SCOAP and PODEM algorighms on ISCAS89 Netlists.

This application calculates combinational and sequential SCOAP parameters (CC0, CC1, CO, SC0, SC1, SO) and Testability Index parameter from a ISCAS89 netlist. It also performs the PODEM algorithm to check testability of a net against a single stuck at 0 or 1 fault.

    ANT.Gaussian

Quantum transport code based on Gaussian03/09

...ANT.Gaussian (or ANT.G for brevity) relies on the popular quantum chemistry code GAUSSIAN03/09 code with which interfaces in a seamless manner. Straightforwad use of ANT.G include the computation of the zero-bias conductance (or, alternatively, the electrical current under an applied bias voltage) of a variety of nanoscale systems such as molecular bridges or simply metallic atomic contacts as those created with scanning tunneling microscope or break junction techniques. The use of ANT.G may also be naturally extended to the computation of scanning tunneling spectroscopy and the simulation of scanning tunneling and electrostatic force microscopy.

    XCTruck3D _Truck

    XCTruck3D _Truck

realistic truck simulator with 3D graphics done from zero

...There's an OpenGL version too: see the CTruck3D _Open,and an ASCII-Art ver (Term_ CTruck3D). This is also a good dydactical software: code is easy to undersand, and drawing procedures and physics sim procedure are written from 0 so it's clearly understandable how a complete 3D game is done in C, starting from a blank page of any plain text editor.Only basic knowledge of C was used. Lagrange Rally 3D

    Lagrange Rally 3D

3D vehicle simulator based on Lagrangian dynamics to simulate dynamics

3D vehicle simulator in which vechicle's configuration as a whole (articulated body) , is represented by a 'vector' of generalised coordinates. so concepts like usual position and orientation of main body and wheels is all defined by the generalised coordinates.Using Lagrangian dynamics, theese coordinates are evolving in time in a realistic manner according to F=ma but as if there were also all constraint forces concretasing the presence of joints: hinge, prismatic, rigid connection, etc....

    CTruck3D _Open

    CTruck3D _Open

realistic truck & car simulator, with OpenGL graphics

...There's a Windows executable ready for use, but it's compilable and playable on all Linux, BSD, MacOSX systems. Official VIDEO presentation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B74QvPGyBYM The physical simulation was written from 0 of course, so no external 'third-party' libraries are used; except GLUT+OpenGL for the graphical visualisation & good interactivity.

    Open Rocket Toolkit

Simulation of historical and contemporary launch vehicles

ORT is a tool for modelling and flying launch vehicles of arbitrary size and complexity. Unlike OpenRocket, it does not focus on amateur rockets but on real-world launch vehicles. The bundle includes a graphical design tool with an integrated simulation engine for rocket launches. Also included in the bundle is a playback application and a headless driver for logging simulations into spreadsheets. ORT integrates JME3 for 3D rendering.

...Ideal for designing 3D engines. Headlines of functions are intuitive. For each headline there is a one line comment in Russian. Matrix are presented in OpenGL form 0 4 8 12 1 5 9 13 2 6 10 14 3 7 11 15 Now we are working on adding 50+ more functions for processing the planes, splines, bezier curves and interpolation methods.

Seems to be closely related to Cellular automaton, except this creates a complex pattern from a mathematical function you input. See website for examples/live applets. This program makes use of an old GPL version of the JEP equation parser.
