Corewar is a game played vicariously through the action of assembly language programs written in a language called Redcode. Corewar is discussed in the Usenet group REC.GAMES.COREWAR; the reference implementation of this game, pMARS, is maintained here.

Extensible 3D (X3D) Graphics is a royalty-free International Standard for real-time interactive 3D graphics on the Web, providing unsurpassed interoperability for 3D communications on the Web. This project includes source for example X3D scene libraries and multiple X3D codebases produced by Web3D Consortium members. All open-source contributions are welcome.

Helping you rifle through other people's packages. The DBPF2 file format is used for most of the content in the Sims 3 engine. This project provides a Java-based API, and supporting GUI application, to unpack, browse, edit and repack these files.

XHSI (eXternal High-resolution Simulator Instruments) is an add-on for the X-Plane flight simulator. It displays the PFD, ND, EICAS, Flaps and Gear indicator, Clock/Chronometer, etc... in separate windows. In general, the instruments can be displayed in B737-NG or A320 style.

The Kelpie Flight Planner for Flightgear. This Java based Gui flight planner uses the airport and navaid databases of the Flightgear, allowing the user to search for airports and navigation aids and plan flights between them. [Note: Requires Java 1.10 or above] This program is no longer being actively developed or supported. All future work is being undertaken on a port to Rust/Gtk at https://github.com/shartrec/kelpie-flight-planner. But is still in the very early stages.

Open source simulator of loans. Loans depend on 3 data : the amount to borrow, the bank rate, the duration. But sometimes, you want to compute one of these data, knowing 2 of them only, plus the monthly payment. That's exactly what JbiLoan is made for! Moreover, this tool allows you to compute the full simulation of the loan, including the insurance rate and the bank expenses. And finally, it displays the real/effective rate and compares the loans together, so that you know exactly which one is really the cheapest!
