TORCS, The Open Racing Car Simulator is a highly portable multi platform car racing simulation. It is used as ordinary car racing game, as AI racing game and as research platform. It runs on Linux (x86, AMD64, ARM and PPC), FreeBSD, OpenSolaris and Windows.
a software project that tries to visualize people's social behaviour
Social World is a software project that tries to visualize people's social behaviour. Therefore the actions, the speech and the physical and mental constitution are part of a simulation process that calculates, how attributes of creatures and characters change and how they act and react.
Vamos is an automotive simulation framework with an emphasis on thorough physical modeling and good C++ design. Vamos includes a real-time, first-person, 3D driving application.
Quan is designed to model physical quantities in C++
programs. Advantages include automated dimensional analysis checking,
automatic unit conversions, self documentation of code.

A low-code dashboard makes monitoring intuitive for any admin, while scripting and custom sensors give experts full control.
You shouldn't have to choose between a monitoring tool that's easy to use and one that's powerful enough for a complex environment. PRTG's low-code interface lets any admin build dashboards, set alerts and monitor devices without scripting, while custom sensors and full API access are there when your team needs deeper control. One platform, no compromise. Download a free 30-day trial now.
GWIC (Gynoid World Interactive Constructor) is a sandbox environment where you can freely create, edit and play with complex worlds contains almost unlimited terrain space, static, dynamic and physics objects, and unlimited count of actors, like a script-driven physical gynoid models. Or anything you can imagine!
realistic truck & car simulator, with OpenGL graphics
...There's a Windows executable ready for use, but it's compilable and playable on all Linux, BSD, MacOSX systems. Official VIDEO presentation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B74QvPGyBYM
The physical simulation was written from 0 of course, so no external 'third-party' libraries are used; except GLUT+OpenGL for the graphical visualisation & good interactivity.
2D motorcycle simulator done using Lagrangian equations of motion
...Using Lagrangians in games is not a well documented thing, but it allows to achieve exellent results in very little time, soon after a good parametrization of a given physical system was found. The problem is collisions... they are more problematic to do. The near-end of this little game is to get started with using Lagrangians in games; the far-end is to provide groung for creating a 3D rally game using Lagrange equations of motion, one that fixes certain shortcomings of the CTruck3D _Open .

Step is an interactive physical simulation program for education. StepCore is a physical simulation library on which Step is based. Please refer to http://edu.kde.org/step for more details.
MultiBrain is an experimental object oriented 3D graphic engine based on OpenGL.
It is focuses on rendering technics and physical simulation, so it was created to be an environment simulator rather then a gaming framework.
the Balls Graphics Library aims to provide all the tools you
need to develop artificial worlds, including a script-driven 3D
modeler, OpenGL-based renderer, physical simulation engine,
and realistic image synthesizer.
G3C provides the main features for 3D-game developers: 3D rendering engine based on openGL, collision detection, physical rules, p2p network... A game-sample will be avaible, binding a wargame, a flight simulator, a first person shooter, a MMOG...
"Krezie Kugel" is a physical marble simulation game.
Planned features are: full OpenGL gameplay, multiplayer(network)action,
easy to use level editor and of course a neat looking game :)
grand8 is a rollercoaster simulator which offers the following features: a track editor using Bézier curves; realistic physical mouvements ; several camera placements; a 3D view (openGl)
