Open Source Java Server Monitoring Tools

This is a simple java program designed to monitor any Urban Terror Server and report back on the current map, active players, current scores, and pings of players. This does not require recon privileges, since most players do not have this level of access. The motivation for its creation was to eliminate the need to wait around on a server waiting for other players to join. This program makes it possible to monitor the server while browsing the web or even while away from the computer entirely. The program sends a notification popup to the OS when the server is active with players and also plays a short beep audio clip to get your attention if you are away from the computer. By entering your ut player name into the program you can ensure the program will not be triggered by your presence on the server, so you can join the server and safely minimize until another player joins without worrying about missing the moment when they join the server.

The Amenetet Monitoring Service monitors remote services which register with it, heart beats are used in both directions to monitor the health of remote services. Remote services maintain a lease with Amentet and renew that lease regularly. Amentet then pings back to the remote service to monitor its health. Remote Services can monitor multiple objects internally, when "pinged" by Amentet, if any of these objects has disappeared an exception is thrown back with the list of missing objects. Amentet will store events in a local Db which can be viewed using the Web interface and as events occur alerts will be raised which can be sent to SNMP Trap daemon and/or SMTP and/or SMS. The service uses Spring Security Framework for access control and can be configured to use any Authentication Authorization system supported by the Spring Security Framework.

Ward is a simple and minimalistic server monitoring tool. Ward supports an adaptive design system. Also, it supports a dark theme. It shows only principal information and can be used, if you want to see nice looking dashboard instead of looking on a bunch of numbers and graphs. Ward works nicely on all popular operating systems because it uses OSHI.

The welofunc project will develop a load and fuctional test tool for web applications with special focus on J2EE applications. Besides load and functional tests server monitoring will be included (CPU load, memory usage of the J2EE application server)

A small OS independent application that helps monitoring server connections. You can specify multiple IP addresses that are pinged every few seconds.
