This is first publication original hosted at google code.
It intended to use an old PC to control relays through parallel port.
Ending this description, I would like to clarify, I do FumenBot with learning purpose only.-
This is studying project in CUFE intended to develop a temperature and security system based on a microcontroller with a serial communication with PC
The Embedded software is developed on AVR Atmega16 microcontroller while the PC user interface is programmed with C# .Net 4.5

BASIC interpreter for the 16bit PIC microcontroller 24FJ64GA002. The interpreter runs on the chip only, no compiler/tokenizer is needed. Communication with PC is done by USB-to-serial converter cable.
Operating System for embeded device based on small µController (Microchip, Atmel, …) This OS enable the device to be connected and controlled by a PC trought RS232 protocol (COM, TTY or USB port) with standard Terminal or Shell integration.
Keep It Simple Bus is a PC+MCU based Robotics Framework that utilizes serial port to interface to multiple DC/Servo/Stepper motors through PIC12F683 ising binary protocol. Main goal is to do it as cheap as possible with minimal number of components, fast
gives remote control of a PC running MS-DOS (which e.g. does not have a monitor display attached to it). The screen image (currently text mode only) is taken from the graphics card and transferred to other computer via serial link and displayed there
SoftDash PC allows realtime control of the Connect2Car MFC controller unit installed in a vehicle. Softdash PC can communicate with the MFC hardware either via a serial connection or a Bluetooth Connection. This project allows for open ended expansion.
