...Santa is made up of a kernel extension (or a system extension on macOS 10.15+) that monitors and participates in execve() decisions, a userland daemon that makes the execution decisions, a GUI agent that shows notifications when an execve() is blocked, and a command-line utility that oversees system management and the synchronization of database and server. Santa is built to help protect users by stopping the spread of malware and analyzing what's running on a computer, but is by no means a total security system. Ideally Santa works as a part of a defense-in-depth strategy, and other measures should be in place to protect hosts.

ObjectivePGP is an open-source library for OpenPGP encryption, decryption, signing, and verification in Objective-C and Swift. It enables developers to add PGP-based security to iOS and macOS apps.

Login.app is an X server management and authentication application. User authentication is performed with either a username/password or via SmartCard based authentication. At startup the app launches the X server and presents an authentication panel which also recongnizes several commands (reboot, halt, exit and console). SmartCard support relies on the OpenSSH authorized_keys file method for authentication and also requires OpenSC, pcsc-lite and OpenSSL.

The purpose of SNX is to have a modular series of components that report back to a central repository and 'AI' for pattern recognition and anomoly detection. This is to help with IDS systems, and to move to the next generation of security.
