ntopng® is a web-based network traffic monitoring application released under GPLv3. It is the new incarnation of the original ntop written in 1998, and is now revamped in terms of performance, usability, and features. ntopng is a network traffic probe that provides 360° Network visibility, with its ability to gather traffic information from traffic mirrors, NetFlow exporters, SNMP devices, Firewall logs, and Intrusion Detection systems. ntopng has been written in a portable way in order to virtually run on every Unix platform, including Linux and FreeBSD, MacOS and on Windows as well. ntopng captures traffic from SPAN/mirror ports or TAP devices using libpcap, or PF_RING (on Linux) for best performance. Or you can use it in combination with nProbe to collect NetFlow/sFlow from routers and switches, or nProbe Cento to analyze 100 Gbit links at full rate.

Luakit is a highly configurable browser framework based on the WebKit web content engine and the GTK+ toolkit. It is very fast, extensible with Lua, and licensed under the GNU GPLv3 license. It is primarily targeted at power users, developers and anyone who wants to have fine-grained control over their web browser’s behavior and interface. While switching to the WebKit 2 API means a vastly improved security situation, not all distributions of Linux package the most up-to-date version of WebKitGTK+, and several package very outdated versions that have many known vulnerabilities. As of September 2019, Arch, Debian, Fedora, Gentoo, and Ubuntu all have the latest version of WebKitGTK+, but OpenSUSE ships an outdated and vulnerable version in their stable channel. If you use Luakit for browsing, it is your responsibility to ensure that your distribution packages an up-to-date version of WebKitGTK+!

Vulscan is a module that enhances nmap to a vulnerability scanner. The nmap option -sV enables version detection per service which is used to determine potential flaws according to the identified product. The data is looked up in an offline version of VulDB.

On the fly (and free) SSL registration and renewal inside OpenResty/nginx with Let's Encrypt. This OpenResty plugin automatically and transparently issues SSL certificates from Let's Encrypt (a free certificate authority) as requests are received. By default, resty-auto-ssl will not perform any SSL registrations until you define the allow_domain function. You may return true to handle all possible domains, but be aware that bogus SNI hostnames can then be used to trigger an indefinite number of SSL registration attempts (which will be rejected). A better approach may be to whitelist the allowed domains in some way.
